Gianluca Zambrotta Urges Milan To Continue Winning Mentality
The stopper believes it's onwards and upwards for his team following the win against Chievo...
Milan defender Gianluca Zambrotta has told his team-mates to continue winning from now until the end of the campaign as Juventus are in sight.
The Rossoneri moved to within two points of the Bianconeri following their 1-0 win over Chievo at the weekend. There is real belief that Milan can overhaul Juventus to gain an automatic qualification place in the Champions League.
Zambrotta is not being carried away by all the hype as he urges his side to keep up the good work.
"The win against Chievo was important," Zambrotta told the club's official website.
"Now we have to continue like this with this series of positive results. We have to continue with this mentality."
Although the Rossoneri came away from the Bentegodi with all three points, Zambrotta knows it was a well-fought battle. Clarence Seedorf grabbed the winner, and the defender reflected on the game:
"It was a difficult game and we always knew it would be tough, but the win is important for us."
