Clarence Seedorf was influential for Milan on Saturday, scoring the winning goal against Chievo Verona. The midfielder only recently returned to the line-up after an injury lay-off and was buoyed by his team's performance.

"Scoring that goal gives me great satisfaction, but even more so the three points," the player revealed to the Milan official website.

"In addition to myself, Ricky [Kaka] is better and I also saw [Andrei] Shevchenko doing very well. We are recovering some of the injured and finding our best physical condition."

Many Milan players and representatives have claimed that securing third place and qualification to the Champions League is now the main goal for the Rossoneri.

"We have two games at home and we will try to obtain maximum points," concluded the 33-year-old, referring to the matches against Torino and Palermo.
