thumbnail Hello,

The 'Special One' is trying hard not to be distracted by all the hype centred on the striker...

Jose Mourinho has spoken about the recent woes with Adriano and it seems as if he has given up hope of heloing the striker return to his best.

Adriano is still in Brazil, as reports of him quitting the Nerazzurri made all the front pages in Friday morning's Italian papers. The striker seems unsure of what his future holds. Mourinho has given his views on the situation, hoping his man will understand where he is going wrong.

"I don't really want to talk about it," Mourinho told Il Corriere Dello Sport during his pre-match press conference.

"Inter have done everything to help him, even before I arrived here. All of us have helped, myself, the team, the president.

"We will see what happens. The important thing is that he is happy. I have not spoken to him yet. I will have the chance to speak with him soon so that we can make sense of all this."

Mourinho is convinced his side will win the Scudetto this term as he tries to put the Adriano dramas aside and focus on Palermo.

"We cannot think about Juventus. We have the chance to win 12 points at home and win the league at San Siro this season," added the coach.

"Palermo will come here to play and so I don't expect a game where we have the ball all the time."
