thumbnail Hello,

'Er Pupone' has once again earned commendation from the Giallorossi boss...

Roma captain Francesco Totti made a successful return to the line-up on Sunday, scoring two penalties to ensure his team earned three points at the Stadio Olimpico and coach Luciano Spalletti has showered the World Cup winner with praise.

"Totti played an extraordinary match in terms of both his presence and physical condition. This is the thing that pleases us most. As I have always said, his contribution is what makes the difference" the tactician told Sky Italia.

Roma remain five points behind Genoa and three behind fifth-placed Fiorentina as they chase fourth place in order to qualify for the Champions League next season.

"The matches with Fiorentina and Genoa? There are a few calculations that need to be done. We must win almost all our remaining matches. Until the very end we will have aspirations of coming in the top four."

The Giallorossi will take part in the highly anticipated Rome derby next weekend against struggling city-rivals Lazio.
