Roma coach Luciano Spalletti was involved in bitter spats with both Alexander Doni and Vincenzo Montella during and after the 2-1 win over Bologna on Sunday.

According to Il Tempo, the Giallorossi coach laid into the goalkeeper at half-time after he took too long with a goal-kick just before the end of the first half.

Reports suggest harsh words were exchanged between both men before calm was restored inside the dressing room.

However, Spalletti was still frustrated as he had a bitter spat with Vincenzo Montella after the final whistle. The striker, who had come on for Francesco Totti, argued furiously with Spalletti inside the tunnel and in the dressing room before Daniele De Rossi stepped in to restore calm.

No-one knows why Spalletti has been so touchy recently as he was also nervous during Saturday's pre-match press conference. However, the coach seemed calm during the post-game interviews.

Roma's win keeps their hopes of Champions League football alive as they continue to challenge for the top four spots in Serie A.
