Tough Game Awaits Catania Against Cagliari – Walter Zenga
The Rossazzurri visit Sardinia this afternoon, and the boss is expecting a difficult game...
Catania coach Walter Zenga has admitted that this afternoon his team will face a tough test as they take on high-flying Cagliari, who are after a Europa League spot.
Zenga hailed coach Massimiliano Allegri’s contribution to the Rossoblu, but warned his opponents that the Sicilian side are capable of using various strategies in order to open up even the tightest defences.
"They are an important opponent and full of quality," declared the former Inter player to Eurosport.it.
"[Cagliari coach Massimiliano] Allegri has created a very good system and it will be a nice and tough game.
"We have various solutions on the setup that we can adopt; the team gets used to many tactics.
"Even [Ezequiel] Llama could be fielded in midfield to help [Giuseppe] Mascara and an attacker; we shall see, the solutions are many."
Catania are currently in 12th place with 37 points from 29 games played, 13 points above the relegation zone. A win in this game would all but guarantee them another season in the Serie A.
