Inter are watching Torino's Matteo Rubin with enthusiasm as they plan a way to land him.
Tuttomercatoweb.com claims the Nerazzurri are looking at the Italian left-back to strengthen for next term. Rubin has been in hot form for the Granata and he is rapidly progressing in Turin. Inter were close to signing him in the past, and reports suggest Jose Mourinho will show his hand again.
"Branca asked me about the player's contract situation, but then I never heard from Inter again. We have to sit down with Urbano Cairo as Rubin is a player who earns the least at Torino," Bruno Carpeggiani, who is the player's agent, told Tuttomercatoweb.com.
Maicon suffered a muscular strain whilst on international duty with Brazil, and he is expected to be out for up to a month, leaving Mourinho with more defensive headaches.
