Adriano Galliani Plays Down Napoli Attack Terror
Galliani has spoken about a moment of terror, but remains unfazed...
Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has played down the 15 minute attack he endured by a group of Napoli thugs after the 0-0 draw on Sunday night. The car Galliani was in came under attack by 50 Ultras believed to be Napoli supporters. The chief's vehicle was kicked and punched, and two of its tyres were slashed according to reports in Italy. The bald-headed man spoke about his moment of terror, but has brushed off the severity of the incident.
"If we continue to speak about what happened we will only be emphasing a bad thing," Galliani told Sly Sport Italia.
"It was a nasty 15 minutes, and it could have been worse if the windows caved in. Fortunately the police arrived quickly and restored order. I have already forgotten about what happened."
Milan failed to beat Napoli at the San Paolo, but Galliani is not worried by the blip.
"It didn't go very well for us last night. However, now we will look ahead and think about third place as our objective is to qualify for the Champions League," concluded the chief.
