Donadoni Ready To Give Napoli Wake Up Call Ahead Of Milan Clash

The new Partenopei coach is planning a route to success against his old club...

Former Italy coach Roberto Donadoni takes his first game in charge of Napoli
Napoli coach Roberto Donadoni is planning a way to take down his old Milan side this weekend, and he will have the backing of a sold-out San Paolo behind him.

The coach won his first Napoli point against Reggina last weekend, and is now hoping for all three against the Rossoneri. It will be the coach's first home game in charge of the Partenopei, and Il Corriere Dello Sport claim he has been working hard this week as he prepares his players for a showdown clash.

The Azzurri have not won a game since January and the former Italy coach is planning some radical changes against his former employers.

Donadoni has brought peace and tranquility to Castelvolturno since his arrival and the players have been working well under his command. He is now instructing them on how to overcome their next challenge.

"Everyone should be tranquil, I have come here to help the team climb out of this situation, and we will," Donadoni is quoted as saying in Il Corriere Dello Sport.

Napoli are chasing the European places this season, and anything less than three against Milan could see those hopes fade. Carlo Ancelotti's men have their own problems as they have lost Christian Abbiati for the rest of the season. However, the San Paolo is likely to sell out by the end of the week, and the home side will fancy their chances.

Donadoni wants to silence his critics and prove he can handle the pressure at Napoli and he has demanded a win from his players.
