When Inter and Fiorentina play each other on Sunday night, it will be a showdown between two of the games' most highly-rated goalkeepers.

Julio Cesar has had a hugely impressive season with Inter and joined Sebastien Frey as one of the top ten best 'keepers in the world.

Frey, speaking to the sports show Dribbling said, “Inter will be sad because they were knocked out of the Champions League and will want to show their fans they can bounce back.

“But we need points even more than they do, and against the big teams, we have always played well.

“I was disappointed to see them go out, it would have been nice for an Italian team to go all the way.”

The 28-year-old Frenchman also spoke about the Nerazzurri’s coach and his own opposite number.

“Julio Cesar has been doing amazingly," he stated, "and I have to complement him on how much he has improved since arriving in Italy.

“But I am not jealous of him, he has reached incredibly high levels but in my own way, I think I have too.”

He also had nothing but praise for Inter coach, Jose Mourinho.

“Mourinho is a great coach and I admire him, because he tells things as he sees them without being afraid.”

Asked whether he thought he would win anything with the Tuscan club, Frey concluded, “I have not done so yet unfortunately, but I hope to. It would be extraordinary."
