Following Roma's penalty shoot-out elimination at the hands of Arsenal in Europe, the team must get back to business on the domestic front, even if they will be missing several key players for their match against Sampdoria.

One piece of good news is that goalkeeper Alexander Doni will be fit to resume his duties in goal, after he had picked up a knock in the Arsenal match.

"I'm fine, my leg feels much better. I do not feel plain anymore. The Champions? Now, we must look forward," the 29-year-old revealed, according to Datasport.

The Giallorossi are missing a number of key players for this Sunday's match, including the injured Marco Motta, Juan, Simone Perrotta, and captain Francesco Totti among others.

Meanwhile, the influential presences of Daniele De Rossi and Philippe Mexes will be absent due to suspension.

Thus, the Giallorossi will be hoping to put up a fight with limited personnel when they take on former Roma troublemaker Antonio Cassano and his team-mates in Genoa.
