Palermo beat Fiorentina last week, and the humiliation still stings Alberto Gilardino. The Viola are clinging to the last Champions League qualification spot and will face a daunting task as they meet Inter on Sunday evening .
The Italian international knows these type of matches are vital, according to Datasport.
“We want to bounce back after what happened against Palermo. This week we worked well, and the whole side knows what we need to do.
“Inter have to show that what happened against Manchester United was an isolated incident.
“They never gave up in that game and it could have gone differently. It would be interesting to play under, Jose Mourinho,” the 26-year-old mused.
“I have not scored since we went to Amsterdam to play Ajax, but I believe things will change, as the attitude of the fans has become more positive in recent days.”
