Giorgio Chiellini's goal enabled Juventus to beat Torino in the Turin derby and keep the pressure on Serie A leaders Inter. The defender reflected on the derby and also looked ahead to Tuesday night's match against Chelsea in the Champions League.
"We really cared about this match, we didn't have our heads already on the match against Chelsea," he told Sky. "We gave everything and we are really happy. Now we'll have more energies for Tuesday."
Analysing the match, he commented: "In the beginning [Matteo] Sereni made a miraculous save on [Vincenzo] Iaquinta, then we improved and I think we deserved the victory.
"The fact we improved in the second half is a good sign because in our earlier games against Napoli and Lazio we decreased in the latter part of the match.
"Against Chelsea we are playing for our season. I would give them a 51% chance of going through, because they are coming off a victory, but we believe in it."
The Blues will take a 1-0 lead into the second leg at the Stadio Olimpico.
