thumbnail Hello,

Inter boss Jose Mourinho has told journalists his latest thoughts ahead of Inter's trip to Genoa tomorrow...

After their humiliation in the Coppa Italia against one team from Genoa, Inter now face I Grifoni from the same city in Serie A.

The Beneamata’s coach agreed that Genoa are playing the best football in the country right now, and he also confirmed that Cristian Chivu and Walter Samuel will both be unable to play for Inter against them because of injuries.

Sportmediaset.it, reports that the Special One is going to use this game as a test for the big Champions League clash against Manchester United next week.

“It is normal that this game will influence that one,” Mourinho said, “It happened before the first-leg, when we played Bologna.

“Those who did well in that game, played against Manchester United, and it will be the same this time.”

On his opponents for the next game, the Portuguese tactician stated, “Genoa are a team that play well and calmly, and it is paying off for them.”

He was asked if his comments and criticism after the Sampdoria defeat had been too harsh, “It was not a personal attack against players, but myself and the whole group must assume responsibility, the same as happens when we win.”

Journalists quizzed him about the future, but Jose was diplomatic, saying, “When the season finishes I will leave Italy, and go on holiday to Africa, where I do my charity work.”

Getting back to this week’s starting XI, the Nerazzurri boss confirmed that Esteban Cambiasso, Dejan Stankovic, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and Davide Santon, will all return.
