The Toro veteran had some kind words of praise for the Juve star ahead of their meeting this weekend.
In the lead up to the clash, Granata midfielder Eugenio Corini has offered some words of praise for his counterpart Pavel Nedved, who similarly will be playing in his last ever derby this weekend.
“In the derby I will face another player in a similar position to me, with similar experience to me in Pavel Nedved,” Corini stated in an interview with Sky.
“He has already said many times that this season will be his last, so let's see if this time it really is the case.
“He will be such a big loss to his club and to the competition, as he has been a fantastic player for many years.”
The Toro veteran, 38, went on to make reference to his objectives for the remainder of the season, and the future.
“These will be my last months of football, so I would like to try and attain salvation with the club. In the future I would love to experience coaching,” he concluded.
Torino are currently in 16th position on 24 points, just one clear of safety, meaning that a result in the derby this weekend could prove crucial to their chances of survival.
