Sportmediaset.it reports that Torino winger Ignazio Abate is fully motivated for the encounter awaiting his side on Saturday evening against local rivals Juventus.
This clash promises to be an exciting one as the Bianconeri need the points to keep alive their hopes of winning the league title, whereas the Granata are in desperate need of survival points.
"It's a very important clash for our fans as well as for us," declared the former Empoli player.
"However, we have to be careful not to put too much pressure on the team. We know the importance of the game, but especially the weight that it can have on our league position.
"We need to save ourselves, and to do so we need points, starting from those at stake on Saturday evening."
Torino are currently in 16th place with 24 points from 26 games played, just one point above the relegation zone, so a defeat could see them back in the bottom three.
