The Bari-born talent has praised his new partner in crime...
The two both scored in the recent 2-1 victory of AC Milan at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris and 'Fantantino' has nothing but praise for the new Blucerchiati recruit.
"[Pazzini] is great. He's scored goals. He is hitting the ball well and has proven he knows where the goal is," Cassano smiled to ANSA.
"It is a pleasure to play alongside him. He plays the ball fantastically. I would like it if he was called up for the national team."
Cassano said similar statements on Sunday, when he appealed to Italy boss Marcello Lippi to consider both he and Pazzini for national team duty. Indeed, some pundits have compared the pair to former Sampdoria duo Roberto Mancini and Gianluca Vialli.
Pazzini has scored an impressive five times in seven appearances for his new club in Serie A action since joining in January.
