David Beckham: I Want To Stay At Milan
‘Becks’ has reiterated his desire to extend his Italian adventure and has even moved into George Clooney’s amazing Lake Como Villa.
Despite the Los Angeles Galaxy insisting that England international David Beckham will return from his loan spell with Milan on March 9, the midfielder is still hopeful that the Rossoneri will strike a deal with the California-based outfit to sign him on a permanent basis.
“Will I stay here? It’s not up to me to say that,” ‘Golden Balls’ is quoted as saying on MilanNews.it after last night’s UEFA Cup exit to Werder Bremen.“My desire is to remain, but it is clearly a difficult situation because someone talks about it and wants me to comment on it everyday.
“However, I have managed to stay focussed, at least up until now.”
Meanwhile, the website of People magazine reports that the 33-year-old has become close friends with Hollywood star George Clooney and has moved into his villa on Lake Como. The actor is currently in the United States to shoot the final episode of medical drama ER.
