thumbnail Hello,

‘L’Aeroplanino’ is adamant that the Giallorossi can progress in Europe and looks forward to a crucial test against Inter at the weekend.

Roma suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat at the hands of Premier League side Arsenal in the first leg of their Champions League last 16 tie on Tuesday night and will now face a difficult task to progress to the next round.

“In the second half, we showed that we are up to the challenge and can overturn our deficit to go through,” Vincenzo Montella told journalists while attending the FIFA Interactive World Cup.

The Eternal City outfit are currently two points adrift of the Champions League places and will take on Serie A leaders Inter at the Stadio San Siro on Sunday night.

“We believe we can finish fourth,” maintained Montella. “There is still a long way to go.

“It will be a very important match in Milan but Roma know how to play this type of game and have the strength to do well. We will go there to give them a run for their money and get a victory.”
