Luciano Moggi Summoned To Court For Inter Defamation Claims - Report
More trouble for Moggi as he faces another legal battle...
Luciano Moggi is set to appear before an Italian court in June in relation to damaging claims he made against Inter during the Calciopoli scandal in 2006.
Il Corriere Dello Sport claims the former Juventus transfer guru will stand trial for claims he made to La Repubblica regarding the Nerazzurri and the Alvaro Recoba fake passport scandal.
During the passport trial, Inter were acquitted of any wrongdoing and they are now ready to take Moggi to court over his comments. The trial is settled to begin on June 4 in Rome.
Moggi is currently serving a six year ban from the game for his involvement in the Calciopoli and SIM card scandals.
The former Napoli man is fighting to clear his name but he faces another legal challenge from the Nerazzurri first in relation to his outbursts against them.
