I Can Play With Anyone For Italy - Villarreal's Giuseppe Rossi

Giuseppe Rossi has already been hailed as part of the future of the national team by Italy coach Marcello Lippi and on Friday, the talented Villarreal striker endorsed that notion, after discussing the recent 2-0 loss to Brazil.

"I am glad for the test, but not the match itself. We started badly and we were tired. Even the Brazilians were, but our low performance raised their technique," Rossi claimed in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The player was then asked what role he prefers in attack: "Second striker, but I am suitable for all and compatible with all teammates in attack. Even Amauri, should Marcello Lippi call upon him."

The 22-year-old concluded by discussing some of his Villarreal companions, who he believes could succeed in Serie A.

"Now everyone knows of Marcos Senna, I am not surprised he took the place of Cesc Fabregas during the last European championship. Plus, they should look at Santi Carzola as well," suggested the former Parma player.

Rossi and Villarreal are preparing to take on Sporting Gijon this weekend in Primiera Division action.
