The chief has revealed that Beckham's deal is swinging in Milan's favour...Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has dropped the biggest hint yet that David Beckham will stay on at the club after revealing that talks with the Los Angeles Galaxy are going according to plan.
The Rossoneri have arranged to sit down with chiefs in LA next Tuesday in order to thrash out the deal, and early indications seem to suggest that the Italians will get their way.
Galliani returned from Bremen with the rest of the squad on Thursday afternoon and he revealed that the deal for 'Becks' is moving in the right direction.
"Beckham? We have made good progress within the last few hours," Galliani told La Gazzetta Dello Sport as he landed at Malpensa airport.
It seems as if the Milan-based side are moving closer to keeping the England international, but it's not all good news, well at least for Galaxy fans.
La Gazzetta Dello Sport claims supporters of the MLS side have turned against Beckham, but some of them are protesting against the sale.
However, the voices coming from America seem to suggest that the vast majority of fans are ready to show Beckham the boot as they snub him.
This will play in Milan's favour as they will have more chance of signing the player if fans across the Atlantic have turned their back on him.
