Milan To Play Qatar’s Al-Sadd On March 4
The Rossoneri are scheduled to play Al-Sadd early next month in a friendly match.
Despite the heavy schedule that Milan have, including the Serie A and the UEFA Cup, they are a club that always manage to find the time to play friendly matches wherever possible. The latest fixture that they have arranged will take place on in a few weeks' time, when they will travel to Qatar to face the nation’s most successful side, Al-Sadd.
The details of the match were confirmed by a Milan official late last night in an interview, as reported by Corriere dello Sport.
“We have reached an agreement for a friendly match, scheduled for Wednesday March 4,” the official confirmed.
“We will play against Al-Sadd Sports Club at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium, Doha in Qatar, at 19:00 local time.”
Al-Sadd are one of three teams still in the running for this season’s championship in their own domestic league, as they currently sit in third place, one point adrift of the second placed Al-Rayyan Sports Club, and four adrift of the league leaders Al-Gharrafa.
The match is certain to be a great experience for the Qatari outfit and their fans, as a star studded Milan line-up will assemble for the encounter.
