The Nerazzurri currently have one of the largest squads in
Serie A, and Mourinho has always stated that he wants to trim it before September
1.
The Gazzetta claims that midfield duo Dacourt and Pele are both likely to be on their way out of the club due to a lack of space.
Dacourt is back in training after missing most of last term with a torn cruciate ligament in his knee. In total the 33-year-old made just nine Serie A appearances, six of them starts.
The Frenchman joined Inter from Roma in 2006, having previously starred for Leeds, Lens, Everton and Strasbourg, and he will probably leave permanently.
Portuguese youngster Pele, meanwhile, only arrived at Inter last summer from Vitoria Guimares, and he is likely to exit either on loan or co-ownership arrangement.
However the 20-year-old, who made 15 Serie A appearances last season, could still be used as a pawn in the deal for Porto winger Ricardo Quaresma.
Another Inter player who could be on his way out of San Siro is David Suazo, who is today being linked with a transfer to Manchester City, following the serious injury to Valeri Bojinov.
