Ambrosini has his mind fully focussed on the impending Serie A campaign, during which the Rossoneri must make up for last year's poor performance which left them out of the Champions League.
The bullish veteran insists that Milan can only improve and has highlighted new signing Ronaldinho as the potential difference.
"The quality of this squad is high and we shall soon entertain people," declared the midfielder to the Gazzetta dello Sport.
"We're curious to discover our own potential and to train with Ronaldinho. We already have the will to work and to win; Milan will do well."
Ambrosini also thinks the Carlo Ancelotti vs. Jose Mourinho derby showdowns could be an interesting factor this term.
"They will be nice," he continued. "Mourinho and Ancelotti respect each other, but they have a ferocious will to beat each other.
"I like Mourinho: he provokes intelligently, never crossing the lines. Inter is the team to beat for the Scudetto."
