Milan playmaker Clarence Seedorf is aiming for a Scudetto and UEFA Cup double this season. The Dutchman is also impressed with his club’s transfer campaign over the summer.
The Rossoneri managed to lure a number of high-profile players to San Siro including Ronaldinho, Mathieu Flamini and Gianluca Zambrotta.
Seedorf is confident of success this term and he is relishing the chance to play alongside ‘Dinho.
Expectations are high at Milanello with the Scudetto a priority.
“If we look at who arrived at Milan, they are all important names,” said Seedorf.
“We have a great squad of players following the new arrivals. It will be an important year for us and we are aiming for the Scudetto and UEFA Cup.
“Ronaldinho? I have always wanted to play alongside him. When we played Barcelona we swapped shirts and I told him that I hoped he would come soon.
“I am really happy he arrived. The club made all the right moves on the transfer scene.”
Milan’s less than perfect season last term meant they could only finish within the UEFA Cup places.
The club’s insistence on the Scudetto has lead to speculation suggesting that the Rossoneri will snub Europe this year in favour of domestic glories.
