Mourinho To Pounce For Ledesma?
Inter may turn their attentions to Lazio's Cristian Ledesma, as their hunt for a midfielder gathers pace, according to Sportmediaset.
The
Nerazzurri are still hunting for a midfielder and with Frank Lampard looking
unlikely to join them, Jose Mourinho is searching elsewhere.
Lazio’s Argentine star looks like he will be leaving the club after falling out with them over a contract dispute. Sportmediaset claims that the Nerazzurri are on standby and they could swoop for the player in a €5m deal.
Ledesma is a versatile player and he would offer the ‘Special One’ plenty of cover for the injury-prone Patrick Vieira and Esteban Cambiasso.
It is believed Mourinho is a big fan of the 26-year old. Inter sporting directors Marco Branca and Lele Oriali are ready to fly to Rome and wrap up a deal.
Inter have been linked with Ricardo Quaresma and Tiago but they haven’t really made any progress regarding the Portuguese duo.
Ledesma is looking to cut and run from the Biancocelesti and Inter are likely to welcome him with open arms should he end up running towards the San Siro.
