Did well to frustrate Bayern all game, but was helpless for the late winner. Made a superb intervention to deny Gomez before half-time.
Communicated well with Kjaer and had a decent first half, but started losing his concentration as the game progressed. Allowed Kroos, Schweinsteiger, and most notably Gustavo, a bunch of opportunities to shoot from distance, which proved to be the undoing of Wolfsburg in this game.
Gradually improving in recent games and did well once again to keep Bayern Munich's attacking juggernaut at bay. Showed good positioning, but could have closed down his opponents more often.
The left-back spent most of the time defending and failed to offer genuine threat down the flank. Managed to keep Muller quiet, and generally had a decent game.
Yet another promising performance from the Germany international, who, despite seeing very little of the ball, delivered a sound performance in the centre of the pitch. Fought for every ball, and covered the astounding distance of 13,25 km. Nearly scored after a great run in the 86th minute.
The ex-Bayern Munich man failed to impress on the wing as he was constantly pinned back by Ribery and Lahm. Spent most of his time on the pitch defending, but with little success.
The ex-Bayern Munich offered virtually nothing in attacking sense, but did his fair share of work in defensive sense. Did well to help Wolfsburg's defence shut out Muller, but generally struggled against Rafinha.
Spent most of his time tracking Muller and Kross and generally managed to keep the duo quite. Ran a lot, but committed a few badly-timed fouls.
Had a slow start to the game as Ribery went past him with relative ease on a couple of occasions, but improved dramatically in defensive sense after the break. Offered virtually nothing in attack.
The striker was marked out of the game by Bayern Munich's central pairing, who did a superb job to neutralise his predatory play. Still, he made a few intelligent runs, freeing up space for Helmes to exploit.
The Germany international had another good game, despite not getting on the score-sheet. Had a goal wrongly disallowed in the 40th minute, and impressed with his movement and judgement.
Barely had anything to do in the first half. Read the game well, and came off his line superbly whenever needed. Did superbly to deny Wolfsburg after the break.
The Bayern Munich captain is still readjusting to his new role on the left of the defence and this was obvious today. Occasionally performed strange manoeuvres in order to cross with his right foot, which diminished his efficiency upfront. Lacked concentration at the back as well.
Saw a lot of the ball, and delivered some very good crosses. Covered a lot of ground and kept Schafer quiet throughout the game.
Nearly cost his side a goal in the 40th minute when he played Helmes onside, but luckily for him the goal was disallowed. Was a bit hesitant in the first half, but improved after the break as Bayern Munich kept a clean-sheet.
Enjoyed quite a duel with Manduzkic, and managed to emerge victorious in the end. Calm in possession, and assured at the back, he even managed to threat a few decent passes.
The Brazilian ran a lot, and was the best tackler for Bayern Munich today. Kept it simple on the ball, and rarely gave away possession. Won the game for his team in injury team with a powerful finish.
Pretty confident on the ball, and never shy to take a shot, the Germany international delivered a very good first period performance. His level of performance dropped in the second half. Booked for a shameless dive just before the break.
Fought with real bite and constantly hassled Hasebe and Ochs down the flank. Great in possession, but a bit hesitant to pull the trigger.
The midfield marshal had a relatively quiet first half, but improved in the second period as his team were desperately trying to score. Was a tad slow to take decisions at times, which allowed Wolfsburg to track back and dispossess him, but to his credit he did show some classy moves.
Was starved off service in this game and he naturally suffered up front. Was not presented with a single good chance as Kjaer and Russ did their best to keep him quiet.
The Germany international looked isolated, and could not influence the game in any way. Made a few clever runs, but struggled to deliver the final product.
