Truly a stunning conclusion to a stunning game at the Volkswagen Arena. Gustavo's winner sees Bayern move to mid-table, level on points with the hosts, who sit fifth on goal difference. That's all from here - I hope you enjoyed today's coverage
FULL TIME! Bayern claim their first win of the season!

CHANCE FOR MANDZUKIC! Over the bar! And now Van Buyten is on for Usami in a tactical substitution...

Goal Luiz Gustavo

With his back to goal, Ribery plays the ball back to Gustavo, who blasts a drive at the lower-left corner. Benaglio gets a hand to it but fails to keep the ball out of the net. Incredible!
TOR BAYERN! GUSTAVO BREAKS THE DEADLOCK!
Now striker Srdjan Lakic is on for Helmes in a like-for-like swap.
Ivica Olic now comes on for Kroos as Jupp Heynckes makes a bid for a late winner.
TRASCH! Great show of agility by the Germany international, but his finish is comfortably claimed by Neuer.
Yellow Card Rafinha
Rafinha is whistled for a very poor challenge on Koo, and is the next to earn a booking.
Brilliant ball from Ribery and Schweinsteiger is in...but OFFSIDE! There were two options in front of goal had play continued!
USAMI! Oh, straight into Benaglio's arms! The Japanese attacker lunges to redirect Lahm's cross, but sends the ball straight to the Wolfsburg goalkeeper. That was nearly the opener!
KOO! The Korean lines up his shot from the edge of the box, but is denied by an excellent block.
Kroos plays a brilliant flick on to Ribery who has options in the middle, but Hasebe makes a tremendous block , denying the Frenchman for the umpteenth time.
PENALTY? NO! Mandzukic plays the ball in to Koo, who is given a hefty shove by Luiz Gustavo. Neuer pounces on the ball, and no spot kick is given.
Bayern finally manage to clear and cross the midfield ine, but Boateng's pass is intercepted.
Wolfsburg now bringing on the pressure. Schafer and Hasebe win a pair of corners, before the full-back has a go at goal that is deflected out for yet another corner...
Usami should be very disappointed: Rafinha was fouled, but after allowing pay to continue just long enough for the Japanese attacker to beat a couple defenders, Kircher awards a free kick to Bayern.
HELMES! Oooh, Mandzukic leads him just too far with his low cross, and Neuer pounces.
Substitutions from both sides: Koo Ja-Cheol replaces Salihamdzic, and Takashi Usami comes on for Muller to make his Bundesliga debut.
Oh, that could have been a penalty for Wolfsburg! Helmes rises for a header over Muller, who makes no attempt for the ball as he collides with the Wolfsburg man. No spot kick is awarded, however.
Yellow Card Philipp Lahm
First booking of the afternoon goes to Lahm! Hasebe sprints out of the back to intercept the ball, and beats the Bayern captain for pace. Lahm has to step in front of him to stop the run.
Ribery sprints inside the left of the box, but Kjaer defends well to concede a corner. The visitors are playing with newfound vigour now; if they can keep it up, it will be only a matter of time before they score.
Brilliant control by Schweinsteiger as his first touch sets up Gomez...but the midfielder was offside!
Salihamidzic and Rafinha engage in a bit of a verbal feud after a foul. Badstuber eventually whips in a free kick, but Benaglio claims.
KROOS! Oooh, just wide! Great lead-up play by Bayern, but the playmaker hooks his shot wide. That was a clear chance!
HELMES! The striker comes onto a bouncing ball at the edge of the box; it's a difficult shot to take, and he misses well over the bar.
Gomez and Russ chase after a long ball and Bayern win a corner, much to the defender's dismay. He has a word with referee Knut Kircher.
SCHWEINSTEIGER! Oh, again a brilliant play but he waited too long to shoot! The increasingly influential midfielder skips past a pair of defenders into the box, but Josue makes a last-ditch challenge, knocking the ball off his feet and out for a goal kick.
Oh, that looked painful! Mandzukic and Badstuber rise for a header - Neuer races out to claim the ball, and levels his team-mate in the process...
SCHWEINSTEIGER! Oh, over the bar! Gomez plays a nice ball in to Muller, who loses his footing but manages to find the vice-captain towards the left of the box. Schweinsteiger has a go from a tight angle, but misses the target!
AND THE SECOND HALF BEGINS!
It appears that there will be just one change made at half-time: Ochs will be replaced by Ashkan Dejagah.
HALF-TIME! Just four seconds are added before the whistle is blown, ending a first half that got quite testy in its latter stages. I'll be back in 15 minutes to keep you up to date on all the latest action...
Now Neuer shows a flash of skill! The ball is cleared and Mandzukic is in a one-on-one with Lahm Neuer is quick off his line, however, and heads the ball out for a throw-in.
GOMEZ! OOOH BENAGLIO WITH THE STOP! Incredible! Ribery uses his strength to hold off Hasebe and puts the ball in towards Gomez, but Benaglio bravely dives and takes the ball off the striker's boot!
Yellow Card Toni Kroos
Penalty for Bayern? NO! Kroos is in with only Benaglio to beat, but the ball runs away from him and he goes down. Kroos rolls on the ground in pain but is booked for a dive! Replays show that there was no contact made between attacker and goalkeeper...
Following a corner, the ball is headed on for Helmes, who nods in from close range...but he is called offside... And wrongly so! Repays show that he was quite clearly played on!
TOR WOLFSBURG! NO! IT'S CALLED BACK!
Ooh, Boateng had to do very well to avoid conceding an own goal! Ochs makes space to cross ahead of Lahm, and the former HSV man nods over the bar to concede a corner.
Ribery! Oh, what a disappointment! The Frenchman chases down and dispossesses Josue near the corner flag, but his cross is well over-hit.
Sublime play from Ribery, who turns his marker on the left and surges forward. He lays the ball off to Kroos on the left, but over-runs the play as the German's return pass is behind him.
Chance for Wolfsburg! After a bit of a lapse in the Bayern defence, the hosts are forward with numbers. Helmes attempts a shot from the left side of the penalty area, but Boateng does very well to block it. Schafer trails the play and attempts a cross, but Rafinha knocks the ball out for a corner.
The match is turning sour, and quite quickly. Josue first is whistled for a cynical foul on Muller. Shortly thereafter the Wolfsburg man is fortunate not to be penalised for a challenge on Kroos. And next, Kjaer is whistled for a foul on Schweinsteiger. Still no bookings as of yet...
Badstuber receives jeers from the crowd as he is whistled for hoding Mandzukic in the centre circle.
Here's another hefty challenge as Mandzukic is caught late by Lahm around the midfield line. Free kick to the hots.
After a rough start the visitors have settled in and are enjoying the majority of the ball. They are still not very convincing in the attacking area, however.
Owch! Kroos and Ochs sprint straight into one another after chasing down a ball. The Bayern man wins possession, but takes a hefty blow and earns a free kick.
Very nice work by Kroos as he slips into the box, but his low shot misses wide of the right post.
Tempers are heating up already. Ribery is swarmed by a trio of defenders in his own half and wins a free kick, but takes exception to the way Ochs, Schafer and Mandzukic treat him. After a quick exchange of words, the tension temporarily dissipates...
Kroos does very well to control a tricky bal and turn to cross, but the ball is knocked out for a corner.
PENALTY? No! After the free kick was deflected, Ribery surges into the box. He cuts to his right and appears to be felled by Russ, but play continues much to the Frenchman's dismay.
Here's a decent chance for Bayern - Mueller attempts a pass to the overlapping Rafinha, but Salihamidzic blocks the ball with his arm. Free kick for Bayern...
The last couple minutes have been bright for Wolfsburg, whose pressure has left the visitors rushing their clearances and conceding possession quite quickly.
Ribery and Hasebe have a foot race to the ball out wide, but the Frenchman is late and is whistled for a foul.
Owch! Rafinha smacks a hard clearance out of the back, but the ball catches Luiz Gustavo clear in the face! The midfielder is dazed, but should be able to continue.
Much better from Bayern - the vsitors spray a number of passes around the attacking half. It culminates in Schweinsteiger heading to tee up Kroos, but the youngster's volley is well wide.
Kjaer and Gomez contend for a header, and the Bayern man is given a free kick. Normally this would be expected near the penalty box, but this time it was at the half-way line. Wolfsburg really are not yielding an inch!
Free kick for Wolfsburg on the right after Ribery pushed Ochs off the ball. Salihamidzic lots a nice cross, but it is headed clear.
OOOH, early chance for the hosts! Ochs is played into free space on the right and cuts back a low cross that slips all the way through the box. An infringement is spotted, however, and Bayern are given a free kick. Nervy start from the visitors.
Helmes starts off quite well, powering past Rafinha before Boateng blocks his cross out for a corner.
