Commentary

FULL TIME - The final whistle is blown with Western Sydney holding on to defeat Melbourne City 2-1. The missed penalty by McCormack and City's inability to finish proved costly in the wash up with City now losing three consecutive matches. For the Wanderers that was just their second home win of the season and it lifts them to seventh on the ladder.

30' GOAL WANDERERS - Llorente with a very good square ball to Riera who has plenty of time. La Rocca is very loose on him and Riera spins and shoots across Bouzanis to equalise at 1-1.

19' Bridge hangs it up for Riera who tries to head back across to Bridge but the Melbourne City defence are in the way and they clear the danger.
