PIZARRO! Ex-Chelsea and Bayern Munich striker received a long ball on his chest before powering a volley, which was blocked superbly by Subotic.
The tempo has dropped in recent minutes as Werder Bremen seem unable to cope with Dortmund's water-tight defence now.

HUMMELS! A bit of a lucky charm for Dortmund and he shows why! Pizarro is allowed to shoot on the volley, but what he managed to get past Weidenfeller would not do with the Germany international, who clears the ball off the line! Great play by Markus Rosenberg to create the chance for Pizarro.

Some loose passing from both sides in the early minutes of the game, yet Werder Bremen seem to have a territorial advantage. Their fans are certainly spurring them on.
