That's your lot from me, folks! Thank you for joining me, Tom Davis, as it finishes Vitesse 1-3 Chelsea. Have a nice evening!
Chelsea's unbeaten run continues and there are three more games for them to play now in this pre-season. Werder Bremen, Ferencvaros and Real Sociedad are on the horizon before kicking off their campaign away to Burnley.
Salah, Fabregas and Matic scored the goals but all three were set-up by Costa - one way or the other. He was unselfish for the first and third as he broke from midfield to square the ball across the box. But he also won the free-kick that Fabregas dispatched. He was simply terrific today.
Mourinho will be disappointed his side conceded at the end there having been so comfortable throughout. But he will take positives from this game, arguably their toughest challenge in pre-season so far in terms of opponent stature.
FULL-TIME: And that's the whistle to signal the end of the match!
GOAL! Vitesse have pulled one back! The free-kick was taken quickly and, as the ball came in from a cross, it dropped through to Djurdjevic who scored from yards out. Not a bad first touch!
Vitesse ending the game in possession and have a free-kick deep into the Chelsea half.
Two changes for Vitesse as well as Vako and Labyad come off for Pedersen and Djurdjevic.
A handball appeal for a block in the box by Terry, but the referee waves play on. Vitesse resume play with a throw-in.
Easy first save for Beeney after a tame long-range shot from the Vitesse midfield. Their fans are in full voice now.
Another change for Chelsea as this game grinds to a halt. Cech comes off for Beeney with Chalobah on for Ivanovic.
Further changes for Chelsea now. Costa, Cahill and Matic have come off for Zouma, Boga and Solanke.
GOAL! Chelsea have their third! It's a replica of the first one as Costa break through and squares the ball to Matic to poke in.
It was Matic who initially won the ball for Costa from midfield.
Baker comes on for Fabregas now after that third Chelsea goal.
The game has died down a little bit now after a flurry of chances at the beginning of the half.
Another change from Mourinho as Salah comes off in place of Ake.
Marco van Ginkel
Standing ovation for Van Ginkel by the way, having spent his entire career at Vitesse before moving to London last summer.
A Chelsea change now as Van Ginkel comes off for Romeu.
It's three changes for the Vitas, actually. Wallace, Traore and Vejinovic come off in place of Diks, Oliinyk and Marvelous.
Vitesse are looking to make two changes now, once play is stopped.
OFF THE BAR! What an effort! Labyad, who has been a bright spark for Vitesse, tries an audacious long-range effort after cutting inside on his right. His shot beat Cech but cannoned off the bar!
CHANCE! Costa has a wonderful chance to add to Chelsea's tally after he's slipped in through the middle but, one-on-one, Velthuizen stands up firm.
CHANCE! The ball falls down perfectly for Van Ginkel on the edge of the box! Is this his moment? Not this time, as he blazes over the bar.
A ball over the top through to Salah is chased down well by Velthuizen who comes off his line to clear.
Costa tries a cross from the left, with numbers in the box, but hits it straight into the hands of Velthuizen.
Now Salah pulls up holding his ankle after a lunge from a Vitesse player. It's a free-kick for Chelsea in their own half.
Salah's run is charged down by Velthuizen in goal, who has replaced Room.
Corner to Vitesse but the delivery is played low and straight to Salah who breaks.
Smashing block from Cahill as Leerdam has a shot on goal inside the box. He was appealing for handball but Cahill's hands were by his side.
Terry has come on for Luis at half-time. That's a move which has seen Azpilicueta move to left-back and Ivanovic to right-back.
SECOND-HALF: And we're back underway!
A fairly straight-forward half for Chelsea then with the two-goal lead. Vitesse have been far too slow in possession of the ball and, when they're disposed, they look vulnerable to the counter-attack. Salah, who nearly took advantage of that with a shot close to being their third, couldn’t miss with the opener after Costa unselfishly squared the ball to him. Fabregas hit a fine free-kick for their second although the wall might have held firmer. Van Ginkel has been quiet on his return, however.
HALF-TIME: That's the whistle for half-time and it's Vitesse 0-2 Chelsea!
Luis bundled over by Wallace as he pulls a cross into the box but nobody is on the end of it to meet it.
Wallace goes down after a tackle from Luis and appears to be holding his face. Not much in it as it goes out for a throw-in.
Quick distribution from Cech as he picks out an un-marked Fabregas, but the move breaks down after a mis-placed pass.
Good effort from Vejinovic from another free-kick, further towards the goal. Cech jumps high and tips it over for a corner.
A foul by Luis gives Vitesse a free-kick in their own half.
CHANCE! First real bit of quick movement from Vitesse and they're in! Leerdam makes a run into the box and has the ball slipped into his feet, but Cech comes out quick to deny him.
Vitesse have been slow in their build-up so far which has allowed Chelsea to keep an organised defensive structure. They're looking solid at the minute.
A poor back-pass from Vitesse goes straight out for a Chelsea corner, which, fortunately for them, goes unpunished.
Costa shows strength at the other end of the pitch, not for the first time, but loses out as a throw-in goes against him.
The delivery comes in but it's saved comfortably by Cech.
Smart feet from Labyad on the left who darts through two Chelsea defenders to set-up Traore. His shot goes out for a corner.
Chelsea searching for further goals through Salah but his effort is tipped round the post by Room and out for a corner which is cleared.
GOAL! What a fabulous strike from Fabregas! He's doubled Chelsea's lead with a stunning hit from the free-kick!
Costa amongst the action again for Chelsea, this time winning a free-kick on the edge of the box in a strong position.
Handball given against Costa as he drifts to the left. The pass was played diagonally by Ivanovic but it hit the Spaniard on his hand after bouncing off his boot.
Mourinho's side continuing to soak up movement from the Vitas and they win the ball back through a free-kick.
Chelsea's game has slowed down a little as Vitesse have had most of the possession since the goal. A lot of play in midfield so far.
Two long-range strikes from Vitesse in quick succession but they fail to cause Cech in the Chelsea goal too many problems.
Good delivery from Luis which is cleared by Van der Heijden for a corner. It's swung in but an un-marked Ivanovic headers over the bar.
In-swinging ball from the corner and Propper comes close, connecting at the near post only to see his header fly just over the bar.
CHANCE! Super strike from Vako from long-range. He runs at the Chelsea defence and hits a powerful shot that is punched over the bar from Cech. Out for a corner.
The delivery comes in and, after the ball drops loose, Vitesse concede a free-kick for a foul inside the Chelsea box.
Vitesse at the other end now as Leerdam heads the ball into Vako to force a corner.
GOAL! Chelsea have taken the lead! Salah has scored the opener for his side after a quick break from the Blues. Costa broke through the middle and squared his pass to Salah for an easy tap-in.
First corner of the game falls to Chelsea. It's whipped in from the left but cleared once again by the home side who are back on the ball.
A rash foul from Kashia on Torres earns a free-kick from deep but it's cleared by the Vitesse defence.
KICK-OFF! And we're off! Chelsea are kicking left to right.
Both sets of players are out on the pitch and we're ready to start!
Chelsea have failed to mirror their opening-game demolition of Wycombe but have showed spirit. They fought from behind twice to secure wins against Wimbledon and Olimpija - both sandwiched between a 1-1 draw with Austrian top-tier side, Wolfsberger.
Both clubs are defending an unbeaten pre-season run. Vitesse, who enjoyed such a fine first season under Peter Bosz last year, have started slowly to their summer preparations. They may be unbeaten, but five straight draws means they are yet to taste victory.
We’re five minutes away from kick-off, so let’s check out the form guide.
Jose Mourinho makes four changes from their 2-1 victory over Olimpija earlier in the week, with Petr Cech, Branislav Ivanovic, Marco Van Ginkel and Fernando Torres all in for Matej Delac, Kurt Zouma, Jeremie Boga and Izzy Brown. Van Ginkel makes his return to his former club.
Chelsea XI: Cech, Azpilicueta, Ivanovic, Cahill, Luis, Van Ginkel, Fabregas, Matic, Salah, Costa, Torres. Substitutes: Beeney, Zouma, Terry, Chalobah, Ake, Romeu, Baker, Boga, Solanke.
And now for Chelsea.
Peter Bosz makes three changes from the side that started against Levante as Eloy Room, Wallace and Bertrand Traore all come in for Piet Velthuizen, Kevin Diks and Denys Oliinyk. Notably, the two Chelsea loanees Wallace and Traore start from the off.
Vitesse XI: Room, Wallace, Kashia, Van der Heijden, Kruiswijk, Vejinovic, Leerdam, Propper, Labyad, Vako, Traore. Substitutes: Velthuizen, Djurdjevic, Oliinyk, Dauda, Marvelous, Pedersen, Bosz, Ibarra, Diks, Klein-Holte.
We'll jump straight into the team news. First, the hosts.
Hello and welcome to live commentary of Vitesse against Chelsea at the GelreDome. You’ll be with me, Tom Davis, as we get ready for this pre-season clash which starts in just over half an hour.
