Thank you very much for joining Goal.com's live coverage of the Copa America. Mexico go home, Uruguay advance to face Argentina in the semi-finals. What a game that should be. Uruguay finish in second place in Group C. Thanks for joining me. Once again, this is Roger Gonzalez. As always, it has been a pleasure.

That is the game! Uruguay go through to the quarter-finals!

Last chance for Mexico from a deep free-kick. Here it comes!!
Two minutes off added time.
Mexico are going forward with everything, looking for the tying goal. Not much time left!
From minutes left for Mexico. Can they create a quality chance?
Aravind on Twitter writes: 1-0 is a shaky position to be in! Let's all hope for a spot of luck for Uruguay to double their advantage and make it through!
Yellow Card Rafael Márquez Lugo
GOL MEXICO!!!!!!! Lugo!! Oh wait.....offside is called. Still 1-0 to Uruguay. Lugo put home the ball from close after a free-kick found him at the back post but no to avail.
The Mexican attack looks lively. They are sending balls into the box each minute. Can they capitalise?
Lodeiro hits the post!!!!! Suarez finds him at the front post but the sub's show rocks the right post.
Ponce is off, Pacheco is on. Ponce has been the only quality player in the field for Mexico in the second half. Don't understand that one.
Perez!!!! The midfielder's volley flies by the post after the chest pass from Forlan at the top of the box. Nearly the second for the South Americans.
Forlan!!!! From the top of the box, Michel stops the striker's powerful shot! Another stop by Mexico, but they need to go forward!
Suarez is sent through by Forlan but can't finish one on one, sending the ball wide of the post!
Yellow Card H. Mier
Forlan!!!! How did he miss that? His touch from right in front of goal goes right over the bar! Unbelievable!
Mexico finally show something, stringing some passes together. Free-kick for Mexico from the right side of the box.
Forlan wins a corner off the free-kick. His cross nearly enters the net as Pereira had a chance to put it away. The ball rested in front of goal for a second before Michel pounced on it.
Yellow Card H. Reynoso
Reynoso with the crunching tackle at the top of the box. Great chance for Forlan here!
Suarez sends in a soft little ball to Forlan in the box, but Michel gets there before the Atletico Madrid man.
Free-kick for Mexico. Ponce sends in a cross that flies right to the goalkeeper.
Mexico are still missing the final pass. The chances can be found, but they aren't doing a good job when need be in the attack.
Paul Nicolás Aguilar
Giovani dos Santos
Second half is underway!
The second half is moments away. Can Uruguay book their spot in the quarter-finals?

The first half is over. No added time. Uruguay enter the break up 1-0.
Mexico are looking more comfortable in the back. They are containing Uruguay better but need to get the ball forward.
Yellow Card Paul Nicolás Aguilar
When Mexico are on the attack, they can't get the final pass to send an attacker through. Uruguay are playing very well at the back.
SUAREZ!!! Michel keeps out the Liverpool star's long shot by diving to his left to push it past the post. Nearly 2-0!
Lugano is the star for the defence in the first half, sending balls out with his head while closing down well. Mexico can't get anything going in the attack.
FORLAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BAD LUCK!!!!!!! The Atletico Madrid striker sends a low shot off the left post off Maxi Pereira's cross. He controlled the clearance from Mexico in the box before firing a low shot that looked certain to go in.
Looks like the only hope Mexico have is to go through Dos Santos on the far side. Other attackers have shown little thus far.
Suarez jumps in front of Araujo to steal the balling, going on the break but can't control the ball well as he charged towards the net.
Dos Santos with the shot!!!!!! The former Barca man tests Muslera with a shot from the corner of the box. The goalkeeper did well to push the shot wide!
If this result stays, it will be Argentina and Uruguay in a quarter-final showdown.
Mexico really need to respond now. The Uruguayans are playing well, not letting the North Americans to do much. Mexico's defenders continue to send high balls forward.
Goal Á. Pereira
GOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! URUGUAY!!! ALVARO PEREIRA PUTS IN THE REBOUND!!!! Forlan sends in a free-kick that Michel saves after a deflection, but the midfielder follows the ball to put it away from close.
10 minutes have passed and not one quality chance for either team. Uruguay are looking to play through Suarez on the wing. The Mexicans are looking to do the same with Dos Santos.
Ponce wins a corner kick for Mexico as his cross is deflected past the by-line.
Free-kick for Uruguay. Forlan sends in a curving ball but it's cleared away by the Mexico defence.
The Mexicans look nervous. Uruguay are confident with the ball, looking to attack early. Both teams are looking to go over the top, but it's not working in the opening minutes.
The teams have failed to settle down. Bit of a frantic pace in the early going.
The match is underway! Here we go! Which team will book a spot in the next round? After 90 minutes we will know!
Uruguay's starting XI: Muslera; M. Pereira, Coates, Lugano, A. Pereira; Perez, Rios, Gonzalez, Rodriguez; Suarez, Forlan.
Mexico's starting XI: Michel; Mier, Araujo, Reynoso, Aguilar; Reyes, Enriquez, Chavez, Ponce; Dos Santos, Lugo.

The South Americans will secure a spot in the quarter-finals with a victory or a draw. The North Americans must win to book a spot in the next round.
