Didn't have a whole lot to do on the night, but was alert and came out well to smother potential Honduras breakaway in second half.
Played several good balls over the top and did the defensive work that was required of him.
His long passes led to the USA's first and third goals, showing a dimension of his game that's rarely seen. Did get caught out for the Honduras goal, though.
Put in his usual solid defensive shift. Was in good position to break up Honduras attacks, particularly getting a good block in during a clear-cut chance in the second half.
Got up the left flank several times to good effect, but did commit a silly foul on Palacios to lead to the lone Honduras goal.
Was handed a surprise start and vindicated his coach's decision, providing assists on both of Donovan's goals. Lost his man on the Honduras goal, but more than made up for it.
Again one of the USA's most influential players. Broke up attacks multiple times and sprayed passes all over the field. Having a very solid Gold Cup so far.
J. Torres Mezell
Got himself all over the field and distributed the ball well, making several clever passes. Faded a bit as the game went on and subbed off in the 66th minute.
Kept the ball moving through the center of midfield without doing anything too spectacular. Missed a couple decent chances in the first half on shots from distance.
Absolutely on fire. His neat layoff led to Johnson's opener, then chested down and finished well for the USA's second, before getting into a good spot and finishing for the USA's third and his second.
Showed exactly why Klinsmann called him in as an addition after the group stage. Provided a clinical finish for the USA's first goal and his flick on helped set up the second goal.
Didn't have much of a chance on any of the USA's goals, and made a sharp save in the second half to deny Bedoya.
Had a poor defensive night, punctuated by several giveaways. Redeemed himself with a headed goal, however.
An absolute nightmare. Caught flat footed on the USA's second goal, allowing Bedoya to steal in and set up Donovan. Allowed a simple ball over the top to beat him, giving Bedoya another chance to set up Donovan for the USA's third.
A horrible night. Caught out on the USA's first goal as he lost Eddie Johnson on a combination, then let Landon Donovan ghost behind him for the USA's third goal.
Caught out of position multiple times, and committed several fouls in dangerous positions. Lucky to not give away a penalty kick on Wondolowski late in the game.
Failed to exert his usual influence on the game. Lost in the midfield at times, and did not impact the game going forward.
Failed to have the impact he had in the quarterfinal, when he scored the game's lone goal. Dribbled into trouble and gave the ball away more than he would've liked.
Anonymous in the first half, and rightly hauled off at halftime.
Failed to get himself involved in the game much, as the USA defense limited any opportunities he had.
Was marked out of the match by Goodson and Besler, as he couldn't get himself in spots to trouble the U.S. defense. Taken off with 20 minutes to play.
Came on with 25 minutes left to play and kept the ball moving well, though he dribbled into trouble and lost the ball on occasion.
Subbed on in the second half and didn't have much of an impact, squandering possession a couple times.
Got 20 minutes and failed to really impact the game.
