• White Hart Lane, London
Referee: L. Probert
• Attendance: 35841
H. Kane 48'
Y. Kaboul 62'
S. Sidwell 37'
Steve Sidwell is wearing the face of a man who is bearing the weight of the world on his shoulders. The midfielder will feel frustrated that his tame penalty was saved but in all honesty, the best side won today. I have been Hayden Gribble and I hope you have enjoyed this game and have a great day.
FULL TIME: TOTTENHAM 3-1 FULHAM. The Cottagers survival hopes are dented as goals from Paulinho, Kane and Kaboul give Spurs all three points. They managed to level things up just a minute and a half after the North Londoner's opener but a poor second half and a saved penalty condemn Felix Magath's side to defeat.
90' + 1'
There will be THREE minutes of added on time.
TERRIBLE FREE-KICK: With no Eriksen on the pitch , Soldado steps up 25 yards out to take it. The Spaniard powers it flying into the Paxton Road end, much to his and the home fan's disappointment.
Karagounis sends a good free-kick into the box looking for Hangeland but it takes a flick of the head of Kaboul instead and out for a corner.
Eriksen takes his bow and is replaced by England hopeful Andros Townsend. Will he help himself to a late goal? The bite has all but gone now from the visitors and they are there for the taking.
HALF CHANCE! Soldado breaks forward and it is two-on-two as the Spurs striker bears down on goal. He picks out Adebayor who goes to return the favour but Amorebieta got back and cut out the return pass.
How damaging could this result be to Fulham's survival hopes? It could well be that Sidwell's penalty miss could be pivotal to their chances, not just in this game but for their hopes of beating the drop.
OVER! Eriksen looks to make up for his handball by laying it off to Adebayor, who shoots high and wide of Stockdale's goal from 23 yards.
The ground is rocking now after that late drama as Kane takes a standing ovation from the home fans as he makes way for Soldado.
Penalty saveHugo Lloris
Missed PenaltySteve Sidwell
SAVED BY LLORIS! Sidwell steps up..but his low penalty is palmed away with ease by the Spurs keeper and the danger is cleared! Cries of 'Hugo!' flood White Hart Lane as the hosts survive!
PENALTY TO FULHAM! Rodallega brings the ball down on the edge of the box and it flicks up off Eriksen's arm and Lee Probert points to the spot!
The Spurs fans are finally singing as their team continue to probe for a fourth. Adebayor has had a quiet game today and with Soldado on the bench, maybe it is time for the Spaniard to make his mark?
WELL WIDE! The life has been well and truly sucked out of the Cottagers' fight at the moment as Dejagah sends a low shot well wide past Lloris' post.
The home side are content to play with possession and with more freedom as they knock it around the red shirts of Fulham, who are chasing shadows at the moment. Has their chance ot come back in this game been killed off?
SHOWBOAT! Eriksen is on fire in this match and tries a lovely flick over Hangeland to find Kane but the defender is alert to the danger.
PENALTY SHOUT! Kacaniklic goes down under a challenge from Rose and screams for a spot kick cry out from the visitors. The referee keeps his hands down by his side as it looked like the striker was already going to ground.
STAT ATTACK: Christian Eriksen now has the same number of Premier League assists this season as Arsenal rival Mesut Ozil (eight).
The visitor's woes look to continue as Heitinga gestures to the bench that he has a problem. Felix Magath will need a miracle now as the home side are rampant!
GOAL! Where would Spurs be this season without Christian Eriksen? The Dane sends yet another brilliant free-kick into the box and all it needs is a touch from Younes Kaboul to send the home side 3-1 up!
Yellow CardJohn Heitinga
Fulham have 30 minutes to get something from this but they are struggling to get a foothold at the moment. Rose is sent flying by Heitinga, who goes into Lee Probert's book.
WIDE! Tottenham win a free-kick on the left which Eriksen plays short to Chadli, who sends a good ball into the box that finds Fryers, but his flicked header sails wide of Stockdale's goal.
Spurs are threatening again and looking for a third. Kaboul ventures forward and finds Eriksen, who passes it left to Chadli who just fails to find Kane who was running into space.
STAT ATTACK: Harry Kane is the first Tottenham player to score in three consecutive Premier League games since Gareth Bale in May 2013.
This second half is much more exciting than the first as the tempo has clearly risen. Both sides are looking very sharp and on the ball.
WHAT A SAVE! Dejagah sends a fantastic ball into Rodallega, whose header is magnificently tipped over by Lloris. That was a world class save and the striker shows his appreciation by joshing with the Frenchman afterwards.
GOAL! Spurs are back in front and it's Harry Kane with his third Premier League goal in three games. Lennon cuts inside onto his left foot and sends a beautiful ball into the six-yard-box for the youngster to head his side back in front.
The visitors get us back underway, kicking from right to left. Can they nick all three points?
HALF TIME STAT ATTACK: None of Fulham's last 46 Premier League games have ended goalless - the longest current run of all Premier League teams.
HALF TIME: TOTTENHAM 1-1 FULHAM. The honours are even as we go into the break with the visitors the happier of the two sides. Spurs went ahead through Paulinho's tap in but the season-long problems at the back for Tim Sherwood's men were evident just two minutes later as Sidwell capitalised and poked his rising shot past Lloris to put the Cottagers level. It's all to play for in the second half!
45' + 1'
There will be TWO minutes of stoppage time.
HALF CHANCE: Rose sends a floating ball to the back post that finds Adebayor but the Togo International fails to put any power on his header and Stockdale saves.
The nerves are still present in the Spurs back four as Fryers nearly sends a back header in Rodallega's direction. The lack of composure at the back has been so frequent for the hosts this season it must be worrying for the fans. As for the visitors, will they push on?
STAT ATTACK: Tottenham are one of only two Premier League teams (with Man Utd) yet to lose a league game from a winning position this season.
Fryers and Kaboul got themselves muddled up at the back to allow Sidwell through for that equaliser. The momentum is all with the Cottagers now as the home support dies down to a whisper inside White Hart Lane.
GOAL! Tim Sherwood is fuming on the bench as Sidwell carves through a sloppy defense to poke the ball past Lloris and draw Fulham level!
GOAL! Told you. Paulinho breaks the deadlock for the Spurs with a tap in from close range. Eriksen drives a free-kick from the right across the six-yard-box and the Brazilian is on hand to put hte ball in the back of the net to put the hosts in front!
The visitors are doing their best to calm the play down and are being pragmatic with their passes but the momentum has died down a little in this one. A goal would wake it up...
STAT ATTACK: Saturday's 1-0 win over Norwich was only Fulham's fifth clean sheet - the fewest in the division.
It looks like the hosts have well and truly found their groove here as Naughton is focused enough to slide in and cut out a Fulham counter attack and sends a searching ball into the box looking for Adebayor, but Hangeland is alive to the danger.
BRILLIANT SAVE! Tottenham come the closest to breaking the deadlock as a Lennon volley is tipped onto the post by Stockdale! It all started after Paulinho won the ball off Heitinga and found Eriksen, whose cross found the winger who was inches from opening the scoring.
WELL OVER! Rose sprints to keep the ball in play and sends a brilliant cross into the box looknig for Kane. Sidwell clears straight to Lennon, whose left footed shot from 20 yards flies into the top tier of the Park Lane end.
Paulinho has has a sleepy start to this game as he is knocked off the ball by Dejagah with ease. The Brazilian does enough to win the ball back but knocks it out for a corner.
Cries of, 'Come on Fulham!' ring from the away supporters as Parker goes for goal from long range but his effort flies well wide of the target.
GREAT SAVE! The hosts breath a sigh of relief as a deflection leaves Rodallega one-on-one with Lloris, but the Frenchman does enough to put the stirker off and touch the ball out for a corner.
JUST OVER! The Cottagers fail to deal with a dangerous Spurs corner as Kane heads across a packed penalty area for Kaboul, whose looping header rises over the bar and onto the roof of the net.
CHANCE! Fulham attack with a vengence as a great counter attack leads to Sidwell jumping high with Rose to try and get his head on the ball, but the former Chelsea midfielder is held off well by the left-back, who lets the ball run out of play.
Tottenham break with Rose down the left who shows great strength to hold off Heitinga and lay it off for Kane, whose cross from the byline is gathered by Stockdale. The hosts are just pipping this at the moment.
There is a lack of atmosphere at White Hart Lane presently as Naughton's pass down the right is too far away from Lennon to create an opportunity.
STAT ATTACK: In 34 league meetings at White Hart Lane, Fulham have won only three matches. However, the most recent of those came on their last visit in March 2013 when former Spurs striker Dimitar Berbatov scored the only goal.
DEFLECTED! The home side may have been sloppy at the start, but they have their first chance as Kane picks up a loose ball roughly 20 yards out and hits it at the back of Hangleland and loops up into the arms of Stockdale.
Scott Parker is in the wars as he collides with Adebayor and needs treatment. The former Spurs man, whose name was cheered by the home support when the teamsheets were read out before the game, is okay to continue.
It has to be said that it is the visitors who are looking more lively than their hosts early on here. Dejagah is looking dangerous down the left, giving Naughton something to think about as the ball runs to safety.
EARLY CHANCE! Fryers steps up and is caught out by Rodallega but the ball runs to Kacaniklic, who bears down on goal past Kaboul but skews his shot wide from 15 yards.
Tottenham get the game underway, kicknig from right to left.
Both teams are exchanging pleasantries before splitting into their respective team huddles. I think today's result shall be a win for the team who desire it most.
Today's match official is Lee Probert and he heads the line ups in the tunnel as both teams prepare for the game. We are just minutes away from what I hope will be a goalfest!
TEN MINUTES TO GO! How are your nerves, Fulham fans? Has Magath turned the Cottagers around in the nick of time? They are three points available here today for the visitors and if they take them, survival will seem even closer.
PRE MATCH STAT – Much has been made of Tottenham’s ‘Magnificent Seven’ but one summer purchase has definitely adjusted to the Premier League. Christian Eriksen has scored four goals and assisted three more in his last four Premier League appearances for Spurs.
For the Cottagers and Felix Magath it has been a good couple of weeks results wise that has seen them just one win away from jumping out of the bottom three. However, there are five changes to the starting eleven despite that good run of form. Lewis Holtby is ineligible to play against his parent club as William Kvist, Scott Parker, Ashkan Dejagah and Alexander Kacaniklic and John Arne Riise all start.
It’s been a topsy turvy season at White Hart Lane and boss Tim Sherwood will want to silence his doubters with a strong, positive end to the season. He makes just one change to the side that rescued a point against West Brom last time out with Zeki Fryers coming in at the back for Vlad Chiriches, who drops to the bench.
Fulham (4-3-3): Stockdale; Heitinga, Amorebieta, Hangeland, Riise; Kvist, Sidwell, Parker; Dejagah, Rodallega, Kacaniklic. Subs: Stekelenburg, Kasami, Karagounis, Zverotic, Woodrow, Roberts, Bent.
Tottenham (4-4-2): Lloris; Naughton, Kaboul, Fryers, Rose; Lennon, Paulinho, Chadli, Eriksen; Kane, Adebayor. Subs: Friedel, Chiriches, Soldado, Townsend, Dembele, Sigurdsson, Bentaleb.
