Was unsighted for the goal and looked suitably bemused as Voronkov’s shot went past him. Nothing much else to do.
If anyone was at fault for Belarus’ goal, he was. He stayed tight to Voronkov, but allowed the striker enough room to execute an improvised overhead kick into the far corner. Largely untroubled otherwise.
Not his best game but the full-back posed a threat going forward and made a good covering tackle to stop a Belarus counter-attack late in the second half.
Unselfishly tried to flick a ball to a team-mate in the opposition area after five minutes, but should have headed at goal. Largely solid in defence, although Spain had little to do for the most part at the back.
Got forward well and participated in Spain's superior possession, but gave the ball away at times and was less of a threat than in previous matches.
Pulled the strings in midfield again as he saw plenty of the ball, but was often too deep as Spain struggled to make inroads in attack.
A positive presence in the first period, but much more dynamic after the break. Set up Adrian, whose the shot which hit the post. Showed a handful of neat tricks on the ball, but struggled to carve open the stubborn Belarus defence.
Somewhat disappointing and missed a great chance in the first half. Replaced 12 minutes after the break by Capel.
Less impressive than in the last two games, but still dangerous. Almost got his head on a Thiago cross early in the second half and shot well wide early on in the game. Fired just over with a powerful effort in extra time.
A lively presence, but lost the ball too often in the first half and didn't look as dangerous as in previous matches. Switched to the right after the break and was later replaced by Jeffren.
Popped up on the right in the first minute, then on the left. Hit the post early in the second half and fizzed a fierce drive just over the bar moments later. Shot straight at Gutor when he should have scored after 56 minutes, but levelled with an opportunistic strike late on and put Spain ahead with a fine header.
Palmed away a dangerous Thiago free-kick early on, made a great save to deny Ander in the first half and en even better one from Adrian early in the second half. Helpless for all of Spain's goals.
Made several good interceptions and a decent block late in the game, but struggled to keep the Spanish defence at bay and won't be keen to play La Roja again anytime soon.
Exposed by Mata and Adrian, but worked hard and was well supported by his team-mates.
Pegged back deep into his own half for the most part, Filipenko made a couple of cynical fouls but was tight defensively for the most part.
Put on a captain's performance in the centre of the park as he never stopped running and put in a series of tackles. Not all of them were clean, though, and he picked up a booking in the second half.
An occasional threat to Spain's defence, but ran out of gas late on and was replaced by Baga.
Anonymous as an attacking threat as Belarus failed to find sufficient inspiration, particularly after Spain's equaliser. Put in a shift defensively, though.
Returned from injury in the 3-0 defeat against Switzerland. Was better in this match and did a good job defensively for the Eastern Europeans.
Got a little fortunate with the goal but it was a great piece of improvisation from the forward and an opportunistic finish. And it almost won the game. Held up the ball well on occasions, but was allowed no more chances by Spain.
Put in a decent shift and harried well as Belaurs frustrated Spain, but gave the ball away too often.

Disappointing for a player of his La Liga experience until his superb improvised cross set up Adrian for Spain's second right at the end of the first period of extra time.
Came close with a long-range effort late on and looked busy as Spain attempted to turn the game around. A positive presence, but the Roma-bound forward still looks low on confidence.
Jeffren played a key role after coming off the bench as he set up Adrian for the equaliser. He then almost put La Rojita ahead in the first half of extra time and sealed victory with a wonder-strike late on.

Some neat touches around the Spanish area, but he didn't see much of the ball and, like most of his team-mates, was forced onto the back foot.
Saw a shot blocked on the right-hand side of the Spanish area late on, but offered little as an attacking threat apart from that.

Barely involved after coming on as a substitute.
