90' + 2'
Sevilla really are holding on here! It has been all Valencia for the last 10 minutes but they cannot get the break through! 2 minutes left!
Soldado goes so close! A cross just cannons off his knee and goes agonizingly wide of the post!
Yellow Card Ivan Rakitic
It is all Valencia at the moment, Sevilla are camped in their own half and soaking up so much pressure. Can they stay solid until the end?
Fantastic interception from Martin Caceres to slide away a cross to the back post from Mathieu that looked destined for Roberto Soldado.
Neat play from Valencia just outside the Sevilla box, they are being patient in their play but to the hosts credit they are defending very well at the moment.
Manu Del Moral
There is definitely a goal left in the game, both sides are being awarded so much room in the final third.
The match is getting very stretched now, despite Sevilla being a man down, they continue to forward.
The game is incredibly tense now, the referee is certainly going to be under scrutiny when the game is over!
Yellow Card Emir Spahic
Red Card Aritz Aduriz Zubeldia
Aduriz is sent off! It was an off the ball incident with Spahic. There looked absolutely nothing in it!
Banega misses the penalty!!! The Argentine hits the post!
Missed Penalty Ever Banega
Red Card Julien Escudé
Penalty to Valencia and Escude is sent off! The Sevilla defender was the last man and brought down Aduriz in the box! The hosts down to 9 men!
Good cleaning up from Rami as Negredo and Navas both pressured the Valencia centre back near the corner flag.
Poor finish from Aduriz as the Spaniard found space to the left of the Sevilla penalty area but placed his shot straight into the hands of Varas.
Yellow Card Aritz Aduriz Zubeldia
Fantastic save from Javi Varas to deny Aduriz after the Valencia striker attempted a snap shot at goal from the penalty spot! The Sevilla keeper was up to the challenge and manages to parry the ball away!
Freddy Kanoute is the player being sacrificed by Marcelino. The striker is coming off for Rakitic, who will fill in in midfield.
Yellow/Red Piotr Trochowski
Trochowski is sent off for Sevilla! The midfielder is shown a second yellow after a foul on Tino Costa! The hosts are down to ten men.
Unlucky from Jonas for Valencia, showing great strength the Brazilian fended off challenges to get to the byline and clip a cross to the back post that was begging to be put into the net, but nobody was there.
Same again from Perotti! Again he cuts in from the left hand side on his right foot but this time he whips a cracking shot at goal that is scrambled away by Guaita!
Aduriz shows a glimpse of what hes capable of as he turns quickly just inside the box and smashes a shot at goal but Varas capably catches the attempt and ends the attack.
Yellow Card Piotr Trochowski
The second half has kicked off in Spain. Sevilla will be happy with their first half display but Valencia need to create some play in the final third if they are to get anything from the game.
Half time in Spain. Sevilla go in with a well deserved 1-0 lead over Valencia at the break. Join us in fifteen minutes for the second half!
Perotti is getting quite a lot of joy against Bruno, he just cut inside on his right foot again but like his first attempt it goes far from goal. He is getting closer though.
The home side have defended set-pieces very well this evening. Valencia have had a number of corner kicks that have been easily dealt with.
Medel and Trochowski have been excellent for Sevilla so far. Whenever not going forward they are tucking in infront of their defence and as a result, the likes of Piatti and Jonas are not seeing much of the ball.
Fantastic last ditch challenge from Fernando Navarro as he slides full stretch to take the ball away from the feet of Aduriz, who was through on the Sevilla goal.
Good play from Sevilla again. Jesus Navas showing some magical trickery inside the Valencia box before setting up Bruno for a cross but his pass deflected harmlessly into the arms of Guaita.
Sevilla are starting to press Valencia higher up the pitch and they were almost rewarded when Kanoute intercepted the ball and attempted to slip a pass through to Negredo through on goal but it was slightly over hit and goes out for a goal kick.
Valencia have had their fair share of possession in the match but it has mainly been in the midfield area. They are not showing a lot in the final third.
Fantastic counter attack from Sevilla. Kanoute clips a wonderful pass around Victor Ruiz to Navas who drives down the wing and passes the ball to edge of the box for Perotti but the winger can only manage a tame shot that Guaita easily gathers.
Yellow Card Tino Costa
Sevilla with a penalty shout as Bruno appeared to have clipped the heel of Perotti inside the box. It did look soft but there definitely was contact.
Valencia are cleverly passing the ball about the midfield in an attempt to stop the ascendancy of Sevilla. Smart play from Unai Emery's side.
Sevilla have gained a lot on confidence in the last few minutes. Kanoute is coming short and linking up brilliantly with the midfield.
Assist Jesús Navas González
Goal Fred Kanouté
GOOOOOOOOOOOAL FOR SEVILLA!! Jesus Navas runs down the right and places a pass to the feet of Kanoute just inside the Valencia box who smashes a powerful shot past Guaita!
Good play from Aduriz, the Valencia striker turning swiftly and whipping a shot that goes just by the Sevilla post. Unlucky.
Valencia just starting to ease into the game more now, they are channeling most of their play through Mathieu down the left, who had a wonderful game against Barcelona midweek.
Decent play from Perotti, showing good pace and skill to get down the left and cleverly cut in on his right foot but unfortunately his shot did not trouble the Valencia goal and went clear over the bar.
Good pressure at the moment from the hosts. Jesus Navas is stretching play down the right hand side and his side are getting a lot of joy in midfield at the moment.
Sevilla have a goal disallowed! Jesus Navas clips a cross into the box for Negredo who spectacularly scissor kicks the ball at goal only for Guaita to make a fantastic save! Kanoute scored the rebound but is flagged as offside! Ohhh that looked very tight!
Good defending from Victor Ruiz, the Valencia defender showed good pace to keep up with Negredo down the left and intercept the ball.
Good start to the match from Valencia, Aduriz almost had a free run on goal but it was good covering from Spahic at the back to intercept the pass.
The game has kicked off in Seville, it is a fantastic atmosphere inside the stadium and hopefully we will see an entertaining match between two very good sides.
This is the first XI of Valencia: Guaita; Bruno, Víctor Ruiz, Rami, Mathieu; Maduro, Éver, Tino Costa; Piatti, Aduriz, Jonas.
The teams are in and this is how Sevilla will be lining up tonight: Varas; Cáceres, Spahic, Escudé; Navarro; Navas, Medel, Trochowski, Perotti; Kanouté, Negredo.
