Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone believes this semi-final tie remains firmly in the balance, despite the 2-1 advantage his side takes to Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

With Barcelona leading Atletico by 12 points in La Liga and Rojiblancos already out of Europe, the Copa del Rey represents their last chance of silverware this season, and Simeone will have no fresh injuries or suspensions to worry about ahead of kick-off.

Striker Adrian was rested against Espanyol at the weekend and midfielder Cristian Rodriguez came on as a second-half substitute, so both are likely to feature on Wednesday.

Sevilla boss Unai Emery will have Emir Spahic back after the defender served a suspension against Barcelona and both striker Alvaro Negredo and attacker Jose Antonio Reyes will come back into the starting XI after starting on the bench against the Catalans.

Midfielder Piotr Trochowski is out with a long-term knee injury.

The 27-year-old Spain striker was rested from the start against Barcelona but will lead the line on Wednesday. He has already scored more goals in all competitions than the 14 he managed last season and is looking to replicate the success he had in this competition in 2009-10, when Sevilla won the Copa del Rey.

The Colombia international has scored an impressive 21 goals in 22 Primera Division matches so far this season but has been rather less effective in the cups, where he has only two goals in the Copa del Rey and Europa League combined. Assuming he leaves the Spanish capital in the summer this competition represents his last hurrah with Atletico.

Prediction

Atletico's 2-1 lead coming into this second leg could be a big advantage. They have the best defensive record in Spain this season and will be looking for a fourth clean sheet on the bounce against a Sevilla side that struggles for goals if Negredo is not firing.
