Made a good save from Robinho and another from Seedorf. He was left painfully exposed by his defence for the goal but commanded his area well throughout.
Broke well down the left but as he ventured forward he found little space, but as the game wore on he became more of a threat. Other than the goal he allowed little past him from a defensive capacity.
Moved over to cover Ibrahimovic but forgot Robinho was making a break in the area thus giving him acres of space to pick his spot. He must take the blame for the goal.
Afforded Bonera little space when he came forward. Was caught upfield a few times when Milan broke on the counter.
Had a reasonable evening as he battled with Zlatan, caught out by some slick passing from the away side but he held firm for the most part.
Played the ball out from the back nicely and led his team well.
A few foraging runs but failed to make it past Abate who defended him well. Gave away the ball too often.
Very reluctant to come forward, but from a defensive point of view helped Samp contain a dominant Milan midfield.
Got in behind Bonera a couple of times but should have made more of the defender playing in an unnatural position.
Operated behind Pazzini and found some very good positions but he could not make the most of them and was somewhat wasteful in possession.
Scored an excellent goal and proved if you give him a chance he will likely finish it.
Poor from the goalkeeper as his awful clearance directly led to Samp's equaliser. He did redeem himself moments later with a brilliant acrobatic save.
Always trying to get the ball on his right foot which gave the opposition time to get close to him. Left gaps at the back as he tried in vain to have an effect in the final third.
A few bad touches and caught out of position a couple of times whilst also conceding the corner that resulted in Pazzini's equaliser. Not a game the stopper is likely to remember.
Excellent display from the centre-back. He was commanding and an example throughout. He used his pace and strength well, while aiding his defensive partner who wasn't on top of his game.
A good showing from the full-back. Was not bombing forward as much as he usually likes but played a very disciplined game, even bailing out Nesta a couple of times.
Poor shot in the first half but worked hard throughout. Though when he was stuck on the right flank he looked uncomfortable.
Gave away the ball a few times and was lucky not to give away a penalty when he jumped with Mannini and caught the player in the face. Broke forward with gusto as the game wore on as well.
A few very promising runs especially in the second period and his link-up play with Seedorf almost resulted in a magnificent goal.
One shot of note in the first, but played well on the counter in the second. He had a golden opportunity to win the match but his shot was well saved by Curci.
Fairly quiet until he linked extremely well with Robinho for Milan's first, then went back into quiet mode. A few tricks and flicks but was handled well by the opposition.
Most dangerous player in the first half with a couple of good shots. Good movement for his goal and generally looked lively every time he was in possession.
