Good save from Di Natale in the first half and a number or others throughout the match, most notably from Sanchez towards the end.
Solid and rarely ventured forward. Coped well with the pace of Armero
Missed a sitter... but was Roma's rock at the back, faultless in defence. He also found himself at the opposite end on more than one occasion as well in the first half.
Found life difficult when Di Natale drifted out to the right. But became more comfortable as the match wore on.
A little apprehensive for the most part. Stupidly sent off for pushing Domizzi then charging into him.
Very dangerous. His direct running worried Udinese and he scored the opener taking the ball past two defenders and coolly finishing in the far corner. It was his first of the season.
Good work from the youngster on the left. Started brightly and was steady throughout.
Sat very deep in the centre of the park and provided a strong base for Roma to built their attacks.
Supported the forwards well and held his own against a tough Udinese midfield.
Eased off the ball far too easily far too often and had one effort go high and wide int he first half. Scored the second with an excellent display of strength and power.
Dictated Roma's early attacking moves. Tried to lob Handanovic from 20 yards but the goalkeeper just got enough on it to prevent it from going in.
Made a string of good saves to deny Roma in the first half. Couldn't do too much about Menez's strike, though the ball managed to get between him and the near post for the second.
Had a good start and marshalled Borriello well. But beaten by Menez for the first, although he maintained a good level of performance.
Gave Menez too much room for the opener and struggled to catch the Frenchman as he raced towards goal. Gave away too many needless fouls.
Tried to break forward as much as he could. Strong in the tackle though his distribution was letting him down.
Had a chance very early on but lacked composure and smashed the ball over the bar. Borriello overpowered him for the second. Could have done better with his positioning.
Broke down the right often but gave the ball away numerous times and failed to track back leaving his team struggling as Roma countered.
A few silly challenges and one which resulted in a booking. Didn't have as much influence on the game as he would like and was taken off at the interval.
Found himself isolated on the left side a little too often and struggled to assert himself on the match.
The former Lazio youth player has been sent off three times against Roma but will have been disappointed with his overall contribution this evening.
A. Di Natale
Worked down the right to great effect in the first half. Had a couple of good efforts but Julio Sergio watched them drop just wide. He was the main threat for Udinese as you would expect.
A. Floro Flores
His finshing let him down time and time again. Poor from the frontman.
- 6 E. Belardi
- 45 G. Angella
- 26 G. Pasquale
Employed down the right but offered no change by Castellini
Added some speed to the Udinese attack and hit a ferocious shot that was well beaten away by Julio Sergio.
- 9 B. Corradi
Thought he scored but his late goal was ruled out for offside.
