AND IT IS OVER! AC MILAN WIN THEIR 18TH SCUDETTO! Congratulations to all the Rossonerri fans out there! Roma and AC Milan played out an entertaining game with Mirko Vucinic going close for the Giallorossi in the first half, and Robinho hitting the right post for the new Italian champions. Kevin Prince-Boateng nearly opened the scoring himself, but this does not matter anymore. AC Milan are the new Italian champions. Stay with us for our post-match materials, and do not forget to join us on Sunday for our live coverage of the Catalan derby between Espanyol and Barcelona! Bye, for now!

Yellow CardRodrigo Taddei
90' + 4'
Taddei shown the yellow card for a two-footed lung on Abate, which could have injured the full-back.
90' + 3'
AC Milan pass the ball around, waiting for the final whistle. The celebrations are three minutes away.
90' + 1'
Five minutes of injury time until the end of this game ...
Yellow CardAlexandre Pato
Now Pato is shown the yellow card after clipping Fabio Simplicio's foot as the players reached for the ball. No complaints from the Brazilian striker, and a job well done by the referee.
TOTTI! 'Il Capitano' centred from the left, but Abbiati was first to the ball, ahead of Marco Borrielo.
Yellow CardMark van Bommel
Ambrosini has been very good since his introduction at half-time with his passing and vision top-notch. Mark Van Bommel receives the routine yellow card for a foul from behind on Francesco Totti.
AC Milan are a little more than five minutes away from winning their 18th Scudetto. Can Roma upset them late in the game?
Gianluca Caprari replaces Aleandro Rosi. The substitute came on for Brighi and failed to impress with his crossing in particular very bad.
Burdisso is elbowed in the face by Pato unintentionally as he was trying to get back on his feet after the Argentinian brought him down. No yellow cards here as well.
Nesta pulls Borriello's shirt and is not even booked. That was a bookable offence, and the referee got that wrong.
Abate is lying on the ground after a clash in the air with Rodrigo Taddei. He is holding his head, and will need medical assistance.
Not much happening on the pitch as AC Milan pass the ball around comfotably, waiting for a mistake in Roma's defence.
Pato replaces Robinho. The ex-Real Madrid had a good game, and was unlucky to hit the bar shortly after the restart.
Roma have hardly crossed the half-way line as the visitors pass the ball around comfortably. Alexandre Pato is warming up for AC Milan.
Milan have taken control of this game, but Roma are holding firm in defence. Will Allegri's men secure the Scudetto with a win instead of a draw?
AMBROSINI! The midfielder was picked out by Seedorf, but Burdisso deflected his header for a corner on the left. That set-piece, however, amounted to nothing.
Cassetti brings down Seedorf on the left, and concedes a free-kick. The ex-Real Madrid man takes it ...
Ibrahimovic sends a hopeless header from outside the box wide after a pass by Seedorf. Aside from the free-kick moments ago, the ex-Barcelona striker have offered precious little in attack.
IBRAHIMOVIC! BOMBING FREE-KICK BY THE SWEDE! The striker powered a stunning shot, following the foul on Ambrosini, but the goalkeeper stood strong to parry it.
Juan sends substitute Ambrosini, who gave the pass for Boateng's chance moments ago, flying with a crunching tackle, receiving a booking for his intervention.
ROSI! The substitute was released magnificently by Totti on the right side of the box, but delivered a horrible cross, which was cleared, allowing AC Milan to break away ... BOATENG IS THROUGH ON GOAL! WIDE! The ex-Portsmouth player sends his lob from the left side of the box wide of the right post!
The tempo has dropped after a stunning start which saw Robinho hit the the bar for the Rossonerri. The Giallorossi have create precious little in attack in the second period.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is protesting after he was allegedly held back by Nicolas Burdisso, but the referee is having none of it.
Boateng is shown the yellow card after a fearsome tackle on Pizarro. Correct decision by the referee.
Yellow CardKevin-Prince Boateng
Borriello just replaced Vucinic and it is hard to tell whether the boos accompanying the substitution were directed at the Montenegrin's performance, or at the Italian hitman's hairstyle.
'Ibra' and Doni clash as they raced toward a through-ball, and are both on the ground. Replays show that the goalkeeper made contact with the ball before bringing down the ex-Barcelona striker.
Antonio Cassano is warming up for the Rossonerri. 'Fantantonio' and Totti had a a quite turbulent relationship, during 'Peter Pan's time at Roma. A lot has change since then, but the bad blood is probably still there.
SIMPLICIO! The Brazilian was picked out just outside the box, but blasted a finish with the outside of his right foot left of the post under no pressure at all. Wasted chance here.
Gattuso was replaced by Ambrosini at half-time. The midfielder had a rather anonymous game, and this substitution comes as no surprise.
ROBINHO HITS THE POST! The Brazilian was released on the left, disposed of Cassetti with a quick dribble, and sent a good shot which rattled the right post!
The second half begins...
45' + 3'
The referee blows his whistle for the end of the first half. Roma have been the better team so far, but have failed to put away the chances that came their way. Mirko Vucinic in particular had one great chance, but was denied by Abbiati. If the result is still the same after the final whistle, AC Milan will mathematically win the Scudetto. Join us after the break for the second half of this exciting game.
45' + 2'
SIMPLICIO! Totti wins a ball off Gattuso near the left corner flag, and sends a stunning pass to Simplicio, who nods it ahead of Thiago Silva, but Abbiati is there to claim the ball before the midfielder.
45' + 1'
There will be two minutes of injury time ...
Great defending from Rosi and Burdisso to stop a promising through-ball by Boateng from reaching its target. Roma's backline has been very solid so far.
Van Bommel and Nesta play innocent as the referee stops a promising chance for Roma as Vucinic was picked outside the six-yard box. The Montenegrin saw his volley blocked by Abbiati anyway ...
Juan with yet another wonderful intervention as he lunges into the feet of Kevin-Prince Boateng and dispossesses him cleanly. Great game so far by the centre-half.
IBRAHIMOVIC! The striker is superbly denied by Juan, who makes a stunning block on the big Swede just as the ex-Barcelona man was about to pull the trigger from the right side of the box.
Rosi has a decent shot from the right side of the box comfortably save by Abbiati in goal. The AC Milan's No.1 has been at his best for the Rossonerri this season.
Sparks begin to fly as Van Bommel steps on Totti's foot in the centre of the pitch and 'Il Capitano' proceeds to verbally confront the ex-Bayern Munich midfielder.
Seedorf steals the show with a wonderful backheel flick which allows him to go past two players at once, before he is finally stopped by Juan in defence for Roma.
Abate with a poor cross from the right, which is easily dealt with by Nicolas Burdisso. Good defending from Roma here.
Poor delivery allows Roma to break free, but poor delivery allows AC Milan to recover the ball quickly. The camera glances at Marco Borriello, an ex-Milan player, who is sitting on the bench for Roma. He may not with the Golden Boot this season, but dorkiest haircut of the season is still up for the grabs for him.
Ibrahimovic superbly flicks the ball over Riise, but is hacked down from behind by Rodrigo Taddei a moment later. AC Milan win a free-kick outside the box, and then a corner on the right.
AC Milan are pinned back in their own half as Roma seem to have taken full control of the game. Remember, the visitors just need a point to mathematically secure the Scudetto.
Rosi! The substitute found himself at the right place, at the right time to head at Abbate from seven yards out, following a corner on the left, but his finish was easily blocked by the goalkeeper.
GREAT INTERVENTION BY NESTA! Cassetti was again at the centre of things as he sent a wonderful through-ball for Vucinic deep in the box, but Nesta managed to deflect the ball with a sliding intervention.
Cassetti wins a corner on the right off Zambrotta. The full-back has had a pretty good game so far .... Nothing came off that set-piece.
Vucinic tries to hide his failure to sent a decent shot from outside the box by faking a foul, but to no avail. That was a decent chance for Roma, as the hosts caught AC Milan off-guard on the break.
Aleandro Rosi replaces Matteo Brighi. The midfielder aggravated the injury he must have picked up after the clash with Van Bommel. Unpleasant development of the game for the Giallorossi here.
It is worth noting the inept play by AC Milan's full-backs as first Zambrotta was nutmegged, and Abate was nowhere near Vucinic for this chance. He also made a comical attempt to head the ball in flight.
VUCINIC! WHAT A MISS! Wonderful play by Totti who released Cassetti on the right wing, the full-back nutmegged Zambrotta before chipping a cross over the defence for Vucinic inside the six-yard box, but the Montenegrin failed to power his volley past Abbate! Great play by the goalkeeper!
The inevitable happened ... Brighi is on the ground after he was bulldozed by Gattuso in the centre of the pitch. Not surprising at all ...
TADDEI! The winger let if fly from 25 yards out, but his well-placed shot was saved by Abbiati in the right corner. Great strike from the Brazilian.
Robinho! The striker played a nice one-two with Ibrahimovic before blasting a finish over the bar from outside the box! Close one here.
Both sets of supporters seem to be fired up for this game as a fourth smoke bomb went off in Curva Sud, while AC Milan faithful are making themselves heard as well.
Doni almost gets himself in trouble as he kicks a simple ball right into the flying foot of Boateng, and, luckily for the goalkeeper, it was deflected wide for a throw-in.
IBRA! The striker was released superbly by Abate with a through-ball on the right side of the box, but Juan is there to make an excellent sliding tackle to dispossess the big Swede.
Van Bommel is brought down by Simplicio with a vicious tackle in the centre of the pitch. The midfielder is lucky to escape a booking here.
Abate goes on a rampaging run on the right, sprinting some 30 yards before finally squaring for Ibrahimovic, who is superbly dispossessed by Juan with a sliding tackle.
The game begins ...
AC Milan: Abbiati; Abate, Nesta, Thiago Silva, Zambrotta; Seedorf, Van Bommel, Gattuso; Boateng; Ibrahimovic, Robinho.
Roma: Doni, Cassetti, Burdisso, Juan, Riise; Pizarro, Simplico, Brighi; Vucinic, Taddei, Totti.
