The 'keeper had a very quiet game due to Valencia being weak on the attackin front. Made a few simple stops to show he was alert to any danger.
The Italian centre-half had a good game, keeping Soldado quiet by marking the striker tightly. Made some very good interceptions.

Good game from the left-back who was always looking to get forward. Dealt with Valencia's limited right-sided threat well and his crosses froms set-pieces always looked like causing problems. Great cross for Jarosik to score the opener.
The on-loan midfielder looked great going forward. He did miss an opportunity to score but was involved with the majority of Zaragoza's best attacking play.
The young midfielder who is due to join hometown club Atletic Bilbao has impressed for Zaragoza this season and put in another efficient display. His passing was always accurate and he took his goal brilliantly.
The right-winger worked hard down the right. He didn't run at the Valencia wing as often as he would have liked but played some good passes centrally.
The former Atletico man put in a shift in the middle of the field which allowed the side's flair players to do what they do best. His tackling was a particular highlight along with his two well-taken penalties.

The Turkish midfielder was all over the place, not entirely his fault as Emery switched the player from central midfield to centre-half which he looked uncomfortable with.
The experienced winger could not get into the game at all. Had a bright spell for 10 minutes during the first half but apart from that, was very disappointing.
The striker could not get a look in up-front. The service to the former Getafe man was very poor although he looked disinterested when he was given the ball.
The Brazilian international was nowhere to be seen tonight. He had absolutely no impact on the game and was eventually hauled off.

Came on with 10 minutes to go and didn't make an impact on the game.
The striker made a big impact on his arrival into the game. He came close to scoring and did brilliantly to earn Zaragoza a second penalty. His pace and power worried Valencia's makeshift defence.

The Argentinian midfielder replaced Ricardo Costa in the first-half and looked unsure to what his role was. He slotted in the middlle of the park but often looked too deep to have an impact on the game.
After Stankevicius' sending off, the veteran midfielder came on and slotted in at centre-half. He struggled big time and gave away a needless penalty.
Valencia's most creative player was left on the bench tonight after the midweek Champions League exit to Schalke. When he did come on he looked lovely although his side's ball retention in the middle of the park cost the international attacker a chance to run at the Zaragoza defence.
