Not much the Argentine could do to prevent Madrid's clinical finishing. He was left footed when Ronaldo struck his free-kick but to his defence the wall easily disintegrated.
Looked strong at times and held his own but as Real turned the screw he struggled to deal with their pace.
He was evidently struggling with the pace of Ronaldo and company but to his credit he never stopped fighting and showed tremendous passion to give his all.
The former Real Madrid man didn't really figure in the game. His tackle on Karim Benzema however in the second-half was excellent.
Had little impact on the game and was substituted early on in the second period.
The youngster looks a promising talent but was swallowed up by the gulf of class in the middle of Madrid's midfield.
Had a bright start to the game but soon faded. He showed glimpses of terrific footwork in the first half but couldn't prolong it after the interval.
Great link up play with Bertolo in the opening quarter but like his team mate he drifted out of the game.
Looked out of sorts at the back and was caught out in particular by Di Maria as he burst through the middle to net Real's third.
Was anonymous, plain and simple. As poorer game he's had in Spain. Not once had a sight on goal.
Had a fairly quite evening but as always was dependable when needed - especially for his save from Lafite with Madrid 1-0 up. Stunning reflex save.
Was fairly comfortable up until he gave away the penalty and from then on had one or two nervy moments. However Madrid's centre-back is proving a pivitol figure in Mourinho's plans.
He and Carvalho have created a fantastic partnership. Was very composed.
Came in for the crocked Sergio Ramos and did well. As ever quiet, yet efficient.
Possibly the best player on the pitch in the first-half. The Brazillian has came on leaps and bounds this year and as well as his attacking play getting better as is his defending. He did brilliantly to assist the opener with a sweeping ball to Ozil.
Provided a terrific through ball over the top of the Zaragoza defence for Di Maria's goal and as ever controlled Madrid's midfield with ease. So elegant on the ball and his vision for a pass never falters.
Á. di María
Cracking improvisation to loop the ball over Franco for his goal. As ever looked bright and wanted to get involved. His pace is a real asset to his team.
Didn't put a foot wrong all game. Composed in the middle and broke up Zaragoza's play. He showed glimpses of going forward with a couple of efforts on goal. Worthy replacement for Sami Khedira.
Such a composed figure for Los Blancos. Superb composure for his goal and his link up play with the forward players in the team is fantastic. Another top game for the German.
Terrific as ever. His footwork and link up play with his peers was absolutely fantastic. Once again he produced a stunning free-kick to tally another goal to his incredible goal-scoring record for The Whites.
We thought Benzema would kick on following his mid-week hat-trick in the Champions League but he had a rather disappointing game. Had a number of decent opportunities but just didn't have his shooting boots on. He needs to add consistency to his game.
