Should have done much, much better with the Sergio Ramos free kick as, although it had pace, it was basically in the middle of the goal. Made other saves from speculative Madrid shots, but none he should not have dealt with.
Made a brilliant start to the match in which he got up and down the left wing with ease. However, was not as effective in the final third in the second half, as he wasted more than one pass from a good area. But a fine outlet overall.
Was extremely lucky not to give away a penalty in the latter stages as he barged Marcelo on the chest inside the Valladolid box. Though that aggression did sometimes upset Madrid.
Positioning was decent throughout the match as he regularly intercepted passes through the middle to Benzema and Morata. Should have been booked for a challenge on Isco in the middle but did win a lot of tackles in this area.
Was electric in the first few minutes and caused some real problems for Madrid with his pace and crossing ability down the left-hand side. However, drifted out of the match thereafter.
Showed some impressive attacking ambition and got beyond Jeffren on the overlap many times during the first 20 minutes, but ended up reverting to his defensive position thereafter.
Was caught in possession in some ill-advised positions just in front of his own defence and was lucky Madrid didn't punish on a couple of occasions. Did show some bite in the middle of the park, though.
Provided a decent link between the defence in midfield and showed some neat touches in central areas, but choked in the final third and ballooned a great chance over the bar, as well as misplacing some passes.
Showed a pretty decent command of the ball in the middle of the pitch as he sprayed some lovely diagonal passes out to Bergdich and Jeffren. Could have got forward more, though, as he seemed content to screen the midfield areas.
Passed up a golden opportunity in the first half when he got beyond his marker to meet a cross at the front post, only to glance a header wide. Did come closer in the second half with a spectacular overhead kick that went into the sidenet.
Displayed a decent understanding with Rukavina on the right flank and linked up well with the overlapping right-back. Didn't get beyond Coentrao too much himself, though, and often shifted back inside looking for a team-mate.
Will be aggrieved by the fact that the only thing he had to do was pick the ball out of his net after the equaliser. Solid and composed when coming for crosses, but didn't have anything to deal with in terms of shot-stopping.
Was always looking to get forward down the left in a performance more in the light of Marcelo. However, this meant his defensive duties suffered and he allowed himself to be bettered by Jeffren and Rukavina.
Made some good interceptions inside the box, especially in the opening stages when a barrage of crosses were coming into the box. Made a couple of marauding runs out of defence and through the middle.
Attempted to get forward whenever he could in order to support as an extra attacker on the wing. Did manage to get some decent crosses into the area but had his hands full with Pena and Bergdich.
Took it upon himself to claw Madrid ahead in the first half as he netted a superb free kick and also showed fantastic desire to get on the end of every single set piece. Made a couple of rash challenges, but was a warrior out there.
Popped up in his favourite position in between the opposition defence and midfield and picked out some lovely passes through to the attackers. Only problem was is that it wasn't consistent throughout his time on the pitch.
Á. di María
Main threat came from wicked set-pieces, which he regularly sent into the danger area. Wasn't as effective with the ball at his feet but nearly scored a screamer with a volley towards the top corner that went just over.
Attempted to remain calm and composed in the latter stages as Madrid were under the cosh but did make some poor decisions on the ball. Still displayed his full locker of passes and regularly found his team-mates with excellent diagonal passes.
Wasn't his most effective performance in the middle of the park as he took a knock early on, which he never really recovered from. Sat too deep and didn't get beyond the Valladolid midfield, which meant his creativity was sorely missed in the final third.
Not only didn't pose a threat to goal himself, but inadvertently acted as the foil for may of Madrid's attacks through his own poor touch. Definitely off the pace, and didn't link up at all well with the other front men.
