90' + 3'
And it is Kaka with the header, the Brazilian is unmarked and he gets it on target but Doblas somehow keeps it out and when it looks as if it is about to spin back into the goal the 'keeper gets two hands on the ball to save it.
90' + 2'
Maybe they have a bit more time than I thought; 6 minutes of added time and Madrid have a free-kick in a crossing postion.
...proved to be too close. Ozil looked to drive it low but the wall did it's job and the chance goes. Running out of time now...
Di Maria wins a free-kick right on the edge of the penatly area and Madrid have a real chance here, might be too close though....
Yellow Card C. Diogo
BENZEMA!! So close to levelling it there, he steals in at the far post and volleys it back across goal and it misses the far post by a whisker. He was offside anyway..but Diogo had lost him totally there!
Yellow/Red Ricardo Carvalho
Carvalho is OFF!!!! Second booking for the defender after he put a hand across Uche who'd broken free. This is a mighty hard task for Madrid now.
Assist Gonzalo Higuaín
Goal Karim Benzema
GOALLLL!!! BENZEMA!!!! 3-2!!! The Frenchman stays onside brilliantly and takes one touch and then hammers it across the 'keeper who had set himself all wrong. Again, game on!!!! Five minutes to go....
Zaragoza are on the attack again, Uche latching onto the ball and trying to find Gabi, but the captains shot never comes after his first touch lets him down.
Madrid with a free-kick on the angle of the penalty area which Ozil swings in; it gets to the far post and is sent in again but Kaka cannot direct his header on target, chance gone.
KAKA!!! The chances are coming but there are not finishing them! This time Benzema lets it run to the Brazilian whose first touch opens room to shoot but his shot lacks any power and Doblas just does enough to keep hold of it.
BENZEMA!! Wonderful touch, the ball comes over his head and he takes it on first time with a volley but the 'keeper got everything behind it to make a good save.
Uche is still looking to trouble the Madrid defenders but this time Carvalho goes to the floor and a free-kick is giving in the Portugal internationals favour.

LAFITA!!! Carvolho puts a ball back to his 'keeper but it lacks any purchase and Lafita nearly gets in ahead of Casillas but the Spanish No. 1 was alert enough to move to the ball and get it away.
Blatant time wasting from the 'keeper here, the last three of four goalkicks he has taking well over thirty seconds to put it upfield.

Moments later Marcelo gets into the area and somehow the ball stays out after Kaka, Higuain and di Maria all looked to level things up at 2-2.
It is all Madrid here and they have a massive penalty shout when di Maria goes to ground in the area after Lanzaro's challenge but he made the ball. Just.
Assist Mesut Özil

GOAL!!!!!!!!! SERGIO RAMOS!!! Ozil delivers it with precision and Ramos doesn't even need to jump as he gets low to direct his header into the bottom corner. 2-1! GAME ON!!!!

Di Maria then pushes da Silva in the back after chasing a ball down which the ref blows for much to anger of the Argentine who kicks the ball away. Lucky not to see red there, lucky, lucky, lucky.

GABI!! He makes no mistake, and it is 2-0 Zaragoza, that's right....2-0 to the team placed 17th in La Liga!!!!

Benzema does well there with a run down the left flank and knocks the ball beyond Jarosik which wins the free-kick, and earns the Finn a yellow-card.
We are back under way in this second-half now. Will Madrid have something different for this 45 minutes?
One substitution is for Zaragoza, Obradovic comes off for Paredes at the start of the second-half.
So what can Mourinho do, if this is the best Madrid can muster up against lowly Zaragoza they might be heading for a second 5-0 thrashing at the Camp Nou on Tuesday. One word - Awful.
45' + 1'
Real Madrid have a corner just before the half time whistle but it hits the first man and that is the last action of the opening 45 minutes. The players walk off to a subjued Bernabeu.
Real Madrid have played it with some urgency for the last few minutes but without much intent. They looks to attack again but gift the ball to Ponzio, whose first time pass has Uche going but it runs too far ahead of the striker and Casilla clears it this time.
Benzema sticks the ball away after a neat Kaka flick but the offside flag was rightly raised. It wasn't even a close one; he was offside for the entire attack. Awful, awful stuff.

Ramos looks to force something for Madrid as he attempts a "hit it one way run the other" tactic but Jorge Lopez is back to cover and wins the ball for Zaragoza.

Movement on the Zaragoza bench, possibly Uche's match is going to be ending prematurely as he isn't looking good out there.
Granero does exactly that and Ramos looks to steal in ahead of the 'keeper but it's just too far ahead allowing Doblas to punch clear.
Madrid win a freekick in midfield after good work from Granero in the middle; giving los Blancos a chance to swing one in from 30 yards out.
And straight away Kaka does exactly that, he takes one touch to get the ball out from under his feet and cracks a drive just wide of Doblas' goal. First chance for los Blancos there.

Nothing comes of it, Garay looks to lift it over the wall but it hits the first man and chance gone. Waste.
Real Madrid with a free-kick after Jarosik comes on late on Benzema, good positon this; at the angle of the box - made for a right-footer to scream in...
Claims for handball on the edge of the Zaragoza area against Lanzaro but the referee doesn't blow allowing the defender to get the ball clear.
Zaragoza force Madrid all the way back to Casilla, a slow start here in the capital from the home-side.
Benzema looks to exhange passes with Kaka, and they work it well but the French striker's touch is too far ahead of him and runs through to Doblas.
Zaragoza, lining up 4-5-1, are using that extra man in midfield to put pressure on Madrid's middle three and so far they have been successful is preventing los Blancos from getting beyond that midfield bank.
And Zaragoza bring it away at speed with Obradovic finding Uche who hits a shot with some power but Casillas manages to get some part of his body, knee it looks, behind it and push it away.
Madrid content in keeping possession between Nacho and Carvolho who must exchange five passes before they gift the ball away to Zaragoza.

All the hype before the match is about the exclusion of 'CR7' - was he dropped, or has he been rested? Either way, he cannot be happy with Mourinho's decision...
We are close to kick-off at the Bernabeu and Madrid will see this as a chance to get to within 5 points of Barcelona at the top of the table, putting pressure on Pep Guardiola's men.
