And that's that. Despite a brave performance from Getafe, Real Madrid come away with the points with Ronaldo, Benzema and Di Maria particularly impressive.

Instant impact from the Argentine striker as he makes it 4-2!! A great back-heel from Kaka finds his fellow substitute, who turns Miguel Torres before wrong-footing Moya to secure the points for Madrid.
Mesut Ozil is being replaced by Higuain with just five minutes remaining.
Luis Garcia has been sent to the stands - he was banned from last week's curtain raiser as well.

More great goalkeeping from Moya as he charges down Cristiano Ronaldo as the the Portuguese winger looked to take the ball around him. The Getafe 'keeper has had a very good game tonight, and the contest could have been over after 20 minutes without him.
Marcelo nearly restores his side's two goal advantage with a powerful left-footed effort which goes narrowly wide. Kaka, Ozil and Marcelo combined well there.
It's not over yet, though. Miku has pulled one back. Guiza's shot is saved by Casillas, but the former Fenerbahce man's rebound falls to Miku, who makes it 3-2.

3-1! And it's Benzema. An incredible ball from Ronaldo goes in between Miguel Torres and Moya, finding Benzema at the far post, who is left with an easy side-footed finish. A great defence splitting pass from Ronaldo.

A good cross from the right by Juan Valera is plucked out of the air by Casillas.
The foul for the penalty was certainly outside the box - Madrid can count themselves lucky to be ahead, but given their domination of possession, but hosts deserve their lead.

Inevitable, Ronaldo takes the penalty and scores, squeezing the ball past Moya.
Penalty to Madrid! Cristiano Ronaldo is fouled by Diaz, though replays show that the challenge was outside the box. Controversial, but the referee's decision is final.
Angel Di Maria lines up a shot from distance, but despite late movement in the air, Moya blocks the ball, claiming it at the second time of asking.
Miku blasts a fearsome effort towards Casillas from 25 yards, but the Spanish international beats the Getafe goalscorer's effort wide.
Real Madrid, and Coentrao, have the ball in the back of the net, but the effort is ruled out for offside. The ball struck him after good work from Benzema and rolled into the net, but a good decision from the linesman.
The ever lively Pedro Rios gets behind the Real Madrid defence, but his square ball is put out for a corner by Pepe. Ramos gives away another corner, but Benzema heads the second setpiece clear.
Another unbelievable miss from Fabio Coentrao. Benzema crosses the ball to Ronaldo, whose athletic overhead kick hits the post, falling kindly to Coentrao, who missed an open goal. If Madrid fail to take the points here, fingers will be pointed at the former Benfica man.
Ronaldo looks to restore his side's advantage, collecting the ball on the edge of the box, but dragging his shot wide.
Within 20 seconds of the restart, a shot for Getafe, as Pedro Rios sends a wild left-footed strike high and wide.
We're moments away from the second half. Can Real Madrid take advantage of Barcelona's slip-up, or will they be frustrated by their city-rivals?

Real Madrid fans think they have a penalty after Coentrao is felled on the edge of the box, but the referee has opted to give a free-kick. Casquero has been booked for that challenge.
Madrid appealed for an offside there, but Coentrao was playing the Venezuela striker on side.
And just like that, Getafe are level. Lax defending from Marcelo, Pepe and Carvalho sees the ball played into Miku's path, who makes no mistake to get his side an unlikely goal.

Di Maria sends in another great cross towards the far post, but Benzema is too slow and can't latch on to the ball.
Fabio Coentrao misses a guilt edged chance. More champagne football from Real Madrid as Benzema knocks Marcelo's pass into the former Benfica man's path, but the Portuguese star's shot goes narrowly wide.
Medhi Lacen collects the ball about 25 yards from the Madrid goal, before sending in a low shot which calls Casillas into action for the first time today.
Pedro Rios goes down to the byline before crossing the ball from the right, but Carvalho clears the ball.
Marcelo cuts in from the right and find Mesut Ozil, who blasts a shot goalwards from distance, but the Germany international's shot is high and wide.
After all that, Alonso appears to be OK.
Concering scenes for Real Madrid as Xabi Alonso is on the floor holding his ankle. With new signing Nuri Sahin a few weeks away from fitness, this could be a head-ache for Jose Mourinho.

Sergio Ramos makes a great block to deny Miku after the Venezuelan forward won the ball and looked to shoot.
Great save from Moya as Di Maria swings a ball into Ronaldo, but the Portuguese superstar's header is tipped over by the Getafe goalkeeper. Ronaldo attempts a spectacular volley from the resulting corner, but it's easily saved by Moya.
Another shot for Madrid, as Di Maria cuts in from the right hand side, but his low effort goes into the side-netting.
Moya is in action once more as Coetrao lays the ball of to Mesut Ozil, who fires the ball goal-wards, but Moya gets down well to save.
Nervous moments for Moya as he daydreams on the ball, but with Di Maria looming, the Getafe 'keeper scrambles it away.
Getafe attack but Sergio Ramos reads the play well and breaks away, only to be cynically fouled by Lacen.
Real are on the attack again, as Di Maria dribbles through the Getafe defence, but Moya gets down and puts the ball out for a corner, which Real promptly waste.
First chance for Real as Benzema holds the ball up before playing in Ronaldo, whose shot goes a couple of feet wide.
Getafe drive forward with Miku, but Coentrao makes a good tackle and Real Madrid get it away.
And the home side have got the game started...
Real Madrid have a great record against Getafe in recent years, and given the barnstorming start Jose Mourinho's men made to their league campaign a fortnight ago, surely another win over their city rivals is inevitable. Kick-off is minutes away.
