GOAL! PSG 5-0 SOCHAUX! It's FIVE! IBRAHIMOVIC with a late double. And it's on the back of another counter attack. Renard's side have given up. Cavani on the left, unselfishly tees up his strike partner who powers it away.
We'll have two minutes of additional time here.
That's 12 goals and six assists from Ibrahimovic, in PSG's first 17 games of the season in Ligue 1. A brilliant tally from the Sweden international, who didn't make it to the World Cup.
Goal Zlatan Ibrahimovic
What a stunning goal from Ibrahimovic - his 12th league goal of the season. A fantastic strike.
GOAL! PSG 4-0 SOCHAUX! IBRAHIMOVIC! The Parisiens have their fourth. A stunning free-kick, a powerful, brutal strike past Cros. He had no chance with that!
Yellow Card Mathieu-Philippe Peybernes
Yellow Card Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Yellow Card Edinson Cavani
YELLOW CARD - Ibrahimovic and Cavani. Both players are booked for their outburst at the referee.
PENALTY? NO! The referee waves play on after the Uruguayan takes a tumble in the box. Another deft pass by Ibrahimovic, and Cavani is fouled it seems by Carlao. Play waved on.
Another half-chance from the champions, who are in complete control here. Lucas dummies his way past his marker, but is unsuccessful with the attempt.
SUBSTITUTION - PSG: Ezequiel Lavezzi has been replaced by Lucas Moura.
PSG have attempted 755 passes, almost double Sochaux's total of 349. Their opponents have been overawed.
Paris Saint-Germain are working hard to make it 4-0. Pastore has entered the field, and linking seamlessly with Motta and Verratti. Towards Cavani, but they cannot force it past Cros.
Motta tees up Lavezzi on the far side. The Argentine has looked lively in this game. Eases past Julien Faussurier, but falls to the ground. Nothing doing there.
SUBSTITUTION - PSG: Blaise Matuidi is replaced by Javier Pastore.
Sochaux's five-man defence continues to be breached after a wonderful through ball, which requires clearing by Cros, who races off his line. Ibrahimovic ruled offside, nonetheless.
Ibrahimovic goes down in the box, trying to get past Cedric Kante, the Swede pleads for a penalty. Not given. Fell too easily it would seem. 19 minutes to go here in the capital.
MAYUKA! Fantastic half-volley, and a good save by Sirigu. He's been on form when called upon, the Italy goalkeeper. Great control by the Zambia striker, who gets something behind the shot.
Rafael Dias has an effort, but it's a half-chance. The forward has come on in place of Loic Poujol, and sees his effort saved easily by Salvatore Sirigu.
WOW! Outrageous skill by Zlatan Ibrahimovic. A deft touch to get the ball to Blaise Matuidi, who cannot convert for a fourth!
PSG are queuing up for a fourth here. Cavani leaves it for Christophe Jallet, whose delivery in the box is blocked away.
That's Cavani's 11th Ligue 1 goal - he is joint top scorer. Zlatan Ibrahimovic with six assists now, he is on top of the assists chart.
Assist Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Goal Edinson Cavani
GOAL! PSG 3-0 SOCHAUX! CAVANI!!! The Uruguayan has his goal, and PSG are winning at a canter! Stunning Ibrahimovic pass, into the path of Cavani. Fantastic control, and a deft dink under Cros, and into the net.
Statistic: Thiago Motta has not lost a match since the Euro 2012 final (in which he was forced off injured, in Kiev.) Every PSG and Italy defeat since, has been without him.
SUBSTITUTION - PSG: Alex will be replaced by the young Brazilian defender Marquinhos. The former Chelsea defender can be pleased with his performance tonight.
Peybernes race forward, attempting to hold possession for a bit longer than they have experienced. But the visitors run into problems in midfield, as Matuidi reclaims the ball.
Yellow Card Alex
Sochaux have a corner on the far side, as a result of that Alex challenge. It epitomises just how poor the visitors' attacking endeavours are. Hit way over the field by Vincent Nogueira.
YELLOW CARD - Alex: The Brazilian defender is booked for an innocuous challenge, and that decision brings a couple of boos from the home faithful.
The tension has been pierced from this game - absolutely no urgency from the visitors, with PSG content to sit on their lead, and take their time to create chances.
Sochaux attempt to salvage something here. Roy Contout makes good progress on the right hand side, but runs into Thiago Silva, who expertly regains possession.
Yellow Card Carlão
And PSG go looking for a third. Sochaux's corner is easily dealt with, and PSG break at speed. Christophe Jallet on the far side drills in a delivery, but Edinson Cavani cannot latch onto it.
This game is already done and dusted. Few teams recover from 2-0 away to the champions and manage to get at least a point. Sochaux's game plan has already been torn apart.
Assist Thiago Motta
Goal Ezequiel Lavezzi
GOAL! PSG 2-0 SOCHAUX! Lavezzi! The answer is no! Lavezzi is offside, after Thiago Motta tees him up to tap home. But where were the Sochaux defenders? Easily beaten, to allow PSG a rather easy second.
Underway in Paris - Sochaux get us going, attacking from left to right. Can they improve on their strong ending to the first half?
It appear that Thiago Silva has recovered from his brief knock, and will take to the field for the second half.
HT: PSG 1-0 FCSM - Thiago Silva's injury at the end of the half mars a strong half from the champions. Indeed, he scored the goal that separates the two sides. This one is not over.
45' + 2'
Sochaux piling the pressure. Thiago Silva dispossessed by Roy Contout, whose cross into the box is headed away by Alex. Thiago Silva is in a lot of pain here.
45' + 1'
CORCHIA!! What a strike, and it's just wide. The highly-rated right-back powers his shot fantastically, but it's just off target. The opposition's first, and only real chance of note.
We're into the first of two minutes in additional time here. Free-kick to Sochaux, right outside the box.
CAVANI! That was a good strike, and a good save by Pierrick Cros. The Uruguayan turns out his marker, and strikes with his left. But it's a decent save.
Edging towards half-time at the Parc des Princes. And PSG's dominance is underlined in the possesssion statistics - the champions lead with 69 percent to Sochaux's 31.
Lavezzi goes down once more in the box, under the challenge of Sochaux defender Carlao. That was probably a foul, but no complaints as play continues.
IBRAHIMOVIC! He can't make it 2-0. Laurent Blanc has his heads in his hands there. Lavezzi does well to drill the ball into the box. Sochaux cannot clear, and Maxwell's ball into the box once more cannot see Ibrahimovic convert.
Verratti highlighting terrific skill in midfielder, superbly negotiating his way past three defenders with brilliant skill and close control.
Former PSG forward Guillaume Hoarau, last at Dalian Aerbin, is in the stands at the Parc des Princes sitting next to incumbent midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
With ten minutes to go until the break - PSG have registered seven shots on goal compared to Sochaux's 0.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic advancing forward, breezing past the opposition and picks out a superb pass forward for Cavani in the danger zone. The Uruguayan takes a heavy touch, and fails to convert.
CAVANI! Chance for PSG. Rises highest over the defender but his header was always rising.
Joseph Romeric Lopy
Petrus Boumal Mayega
SUBSTITUTION - Sochaux: Petrus Boumal has replaced Joseph Lopy, who cannot continue.
Motta pulling the strings in deep, linking well with Lavezzi. The ball is played forward to Ibrahimovic, whose header back in towards the Argentine is cleared away.
Break in play with a Sochaux player needing medical treatment. Verratti upended by Roy Contout, with Joseph Lopy coming off the worst in that challenge. He'll be OK to continue.
Ibrahimovic now with a rather murderous stare at the referee after he challenges Corchia and concedes a free-kick. PSG featuring prominently as we approach the half-hour mark.
No penalty! PSG are furious, and it looks like Ennijimi had pointed to the spot. But the referee weirdly signals for a goal-kick instead. In truth, he was right! Lavezzi went down far easily.
IBRAHIMOVIC! Top save by Sochaux goalkeeper Cros. Verratti with a stunning through ball to set up Ibrahimovic, whose shot is poor. Good save by Cros - but Lavezzi is then upended in the box.
Julien Faussurier fouled by Marco Verratti, and Sochaux have a chance to run at the champions here. Not done so, after the hosts double up to retake possession.
Pierrick Cros having a tough time in goal for Sochaux - and he rightly criticises his defenders for not doing enough after being thrown into action once more.
Referee Said Ennijimi briefly stops play to go over and lecture Sochaux boss Herve Renard - over that Mayuka penalty claim. Renard is incredulous!
Zambia striker Emmanuel Mayuka takes on Alex, but cannot drive his effort goalwards. Instead, he collides with Alex, before going to ground. The visitors want a penalty. They won't get one.
Jallet drive up the right hand side and attempts to deliver into the box. He does successfully - but his intended target Cavani, fails to reach it in time.
Sochaux are yet to offer a potent threat, and are really locked in their own half trying to avoid PSG from encroaching into their penalty box. CAvani seeing a lot of the ball now.
That assist from Ibrahimovic means he is now joint-top in the Ligue 1 standings. He joins James Rodriguez of AS Monaco on five decisive passes.
Assist Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Goal Thiago Silva
GOAL! PSG 1-0 Sochaux - THIAGO SILVA! The Parisiens take the lead, and it was coming. Fantastic delivery from Ibrahimovic who dinks in the danger zone. Thiago Silva on the end of it to tap home.
CAVANI! What a strike, and what a save by Pierrick Cros. Cavani utilises the bit of space in behind the defence, and curls towards the far corner. Tipped behind acrobatically by the goalkeeper.
Yellow Card Cédric Kanté
Poor free-kick there. Taken by Ibrahimovic and it's struck the wall. Calls for a penalty, but referee Said Ennijmi waves play on.
YELLOW CARD - Kante: Stunning piece of football. Cavani, Matuidi and Lavezzi encounter some fluid football and astute passing, before the defender upends Matuidi outside the box.
Ten minutes gone and PSG are dominating the visitors. Cavani and Ibrahimovic linking superbly, with a series of one-twos.
As expected, Sochaux struggling against the power of PSG at home. They've gone for a rather pragmatic 5-4-1 formation, and there's few players beyond the halfway line.
IBRAHIMOVIC! Oh what a shot, and what a chance! Very close from the Swede. Lovely ball into play from Jallet. Fantastic control by Ibrahimovic, who skips past the defender and curls his strike narrowly wide.
Corner played short, and eventually dealt with after Cavani unsuccessfully attempted to force his way out of a line of Sochaux defenders.
MATUIDI! First chance of the game, and it was a fantastic one. Latched onto a neat ball by Ibrahimovic, takes a fine touch, but Carlao with a superb intervention - getting the ball behind.
Lavezzi moving gingerly after a challenge with Cedric Kante. Nevertheless, he's fine to continue. PSG pressing forward already at the beginning.
PSG have started positively, aiming to erase the memory of the defeat to Evian in midweek. Nogueira shields the ball in midfield, as Ibrahimovic concedes a foul.
UNDERWAY IN PARIS! Under the backdrop of the Eiffel Tower, we get going in the capital. Sochaux in their white away strip, attacking from right to left.
The teams are out in the tunnel.
Sochaux beat PSG the last time they met, winning 3-2 in Montbeliard. Nevertheless, they have never won at the Parc des Princes in Ligue 1 - scoring six goals in 14 matches.
PSG: Sirigu; Jallet, Alex, Silva, Maxwell; Matuidi, Verratti, Motta; Lavezzi, Cavani, Ibrahimovic
SOCHAUX: Cros, Faussurier, Peybernes, Kante, Carlao, Corchia, Lopy, Poujol, Nogueira, Contout, Mayuka
Elsewhere in Ligue 1, PSG's rivals Marseille suffered yet another demoralising defeat to newboys FC Nantes. That has cost l'OM boss Elie Baup his job. The former title-winner was sacked earlier this morning. OM could be 13 points adrift by evening.
Sochaux, under new boss Herve Renard, have won just one game since September - in the Coupe de La Ligue against Montpellier. They are rooted to the bottom of the table. Can they too spring a shock in the capital?
Laurent Blanc's men were out of their depth in freezing conditions in Annecy in midweek, but return to familar surroundings, and a more favourable climate in the capital. They're expected to breeze past a disappointing Sochaux side.
Ligue 1 holders PSG enter this match aiming to recover their clear position at the top. Following Wednesday's shock 2-0 defeat to Evian, they only lead Lille by one point, and Monaco by two.
Good afternoon, and welcome to live coverage of the Ligue 1 clash between Paris Saint-Germain and FC Sochaux-Montbeliard from the Parc des Princes.
