Shots on Target
That is it from me, Tom Webber, for this evening. Have a great night.
FULL TIME - PSG 4-0 Lyon: Cavani opened the scoring before Ibrahimovic netted two penalties, one either side of a Thiago Silva strike, to secure a convincing win for the Parisiens. They move four points clear at the top of the league, while OL remain in 10th.
90' + 2'
Wide from Lucas! The Brazilian received the ball right-of-centre, 20 yards out, but snatched at his effort and skewed it wide across the face of goal. It is the final chance on goal as the final whistle is blown!
90' + 1'
We are into the first of an additional two minutes.
Good defending from Van der Wiel there, as he manages to get across and get a foot to the ball as Plea tries to beat him down the line. He even played it off the Lyon man and won his side a throw.
Lucas tries to wriggle his way into a shooting opportunity inside the box but Fofana is not fooled by his stepovers as he comes into to make a strong challenge.
Vercoutre does well their, coming off his line quickly and decisively and diving at the feet of Ibrahimovic to smother the ball.
Well, this has ended up being a rather comprehensive victory for PSG, who look set to extend their undefeated run to 26 games.
Penalty Goal Zlatan Ibrahimovic
GOOOOOAAAL!! Ibrahimovic fires the penalty right into the bottom corner, with the keeper diving the wrong way. That is his 11th Ligue 1 goal of the season.
Yellow Card Samuel Umtiti
PENALTY TO PSG! Moments after Lyon are denied one of their own, Ibrahimovic is fouled in the area at the other end. The Parisiens have a chance for their fourth.
There is a tremendous ovation for Verratti as he leaves the pitch, and rightly so. His passing was of the highest order all night.
Blanc's men are slowing the pace of this game right down now, and it clearly frustrates Gonalons as he goes in hard on Matuidi deep in the PSG half.
The hosts get every single man behind the ball and Lyon are unable to find a way through. Gonalons is forced to send it back to the defenders who in turn decide to get Vercoutre involved. That was well and truly repelled by PSG.
PSG have started to step off the gas in the closing stages and now Lyon are being allowed to have a bit more time on the ball. It would only take one goal at this point to set up an extremely tense ending to the game.
Ibrahimovic is just playing keepy uppy in the middle of the Lyon half! He eventually lets the ball get away from him though and puts Verratti under pressure with a lax pass. Lyon foul in their haste to win it back, though.
Yellow Card H. Bedimo
Lucas finally gets an opportunity to stretch his legs and he darts into the opposing half and cuts across Bedimo. The Cameroonian has to take one for the team, clipping his ankle and forcing him to ground.
Verratti is again starting to completely dictate the game from deep in midfield. His range of passing is truly magnificent and his distribution this evening has been nothing short of the highest quality.
The home fans are cheering every single pass here, until possession is finally ceeded to Lopes on the near side. PSG are well and truly on top here and any challenge that Lyon were offering has fallen at the wayside since that third goal.
Good defending from Bisevac there, getting across Maxwell and between the ball to stop the Brazilian from finding himself in a shooting area.
JUST OVER!! Ibrahimovic picks up the ball in the centre circle and spreads it out to Lucas on the right with a great pass. He races over to receive it back from the Brazilian before standing a cross up for Cavani inside the area. The former Napoli man manages to get his head on it but it is just too high to worry the keeper.
That was a great ball over the top towards Ibrahimovic by Verratti but the Swede is adjudged to have committed a foul as he shrugged off the defender on his way to retrieve it.
Well, this Lyon side are going to have to just sit back and try to hold out until the final whistle now. But PSG look confident, and they will be keen to add to their tally.
Goal Thiago Silva
GOOOOOAAALL!! Thiago Silva beats Fofana to a corner and the ball bounces between the two before falling fortuitously for the Brazilian. With the ball sitting just ahead of him he swept a powerful shot into the back of the net.
PSG try to break down the right throguh Van der Wiel but the Dutchman's cross is cut out by (you guessed it!) Kone. The centre-back has done well tonight, bar conceding the penalty.
The hosts are just knocking the ball around at the back now and forcing the Lyon players to chase them down. Thiago Silva looks to switch the play with a long ball out to the right but Umtiti cuts it out.
That is yet another good run from Bedimo, beating Van der Wiel down to the byeline and earning a corner after his cross is deflected behind off of Alex. He has been full of energy tonight.
Yellow Card Miguel Lopes
STAT: PSG have been leading at both half time and full time in their last four home games. You wouldn't bet against them making that five matches today.
Lyon try to break but Fofana is tackled strongly by Thiago Silva on the half-way line and so the referee awards a free kick. That was a crunching tackle.
Lucas takes a short corner for the hosts, enabling Maxwell to cross from a less acute angle. He is unable to find a team-mate in the swarm of bodies, though, and his cross is dealt with.
VITAL TOUCH! PSG counter well through Ibrahimovic down the left and he slides a great square pass across the face of goal. Lucas is awaiting the tap in at the back post but Bedimo slides in and manages to divert the cross behind.
PSG get the ball rolling for the second period.
The teams are making their way back out onto the pitch, so the second half wil begin shortly. It looks as though Blaise Matuidi will be coming on for Thiago Motta.
HALF TIME - PSG 2-0 Lyon: Goals from Cavani and Ibrahimovic with the Parisiens the lead going into the break, undoing the solid start to the game from Remi Garde's men. Join me in 15 minutes for the second half.
45' + 1'
Only a few seconds of stoppage time before the referee ends the half.
That was just a minor blip for Verratti though. He has played with the utmost class tonight, picking out some marvellous balls and playing with composure beyond his years.
That is a real let off for Verratti! The young Italian just passed the ball straight to Fofana right on the edge of his own area, but fortunately for him the French midfielder was unable to pick out Lacazette with his pass.
Penalty Goal Zlatan Ibrahimovic
GOOOOOAAAL!! Panenka! Pure class from Ibrahimovic! The arrogance of that spot kick was brilliant, as he strolled up before clipping a neat chip into the roof of the net from 12 yards.
Yellow Card Rémy Vercoutre
Penalty to PSG! Cavani latches onto a through-ball and knocks it past Vercoutre, but the keeper brings him down and earns a booking for his challenge.
Yellow Card Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Remi Garde will no doubt have hoped that his side could have kept PSG of the score board until half time, so that goal will come as a huge blow. It will be interesting to see how they react to that. Will they continue to push their wing-backs on so freely?
Goal Edinson Cavani
GOOOOAAALL!! The resultant corner is sent in and Cavani breaks away from Gonalons and meets it, angling a header to the near post. Gourcuff is stood on the line but fails to react quick enough to keep it out. PSG lead 1-0.
TOP SAVE!! Verratti picks out Ibrahimovic's run and plays him in with a great pass. His initial shot is blocked by Bisevac and the keeper the makes a terrific stop from the follow-up effort, which he turns behind for a corner.
The PSG midfield are working well together, but their final link-up with the forwards is lacking at the moment. They need to use the mobility of Pastore more and get him combining with the wingers.
GREAT BLOCK!! It's that man Kone again! The centre-back allowed Pastore to peel away from him but he recovered excellently, sliding in to stop the Argentine's shot from finding the bottom corner.
Finally Lucas gets onto the ball out on the right wing but his cross is dealt with by Kone at the back post.
Ambitious from Grenier, but that 30-yard effort was always bending high and wide. It would have taken something far, far better to have beaten Sirigu from there.
Lucas has barely had a touch of the ball so far this evening. The Brazilian has been practically invisible for the opening half of an hour. He has to get more involved or he will find himself being replaced early in the second half.
OFF THE BAR!! Lacazette almost scored a superb solo goal. After using his body well to turn Thiago Silva, the striker went on to race diagonally into the area and beat another two defenders. He dug out a shot with his left foot but was denied a memorable goal by the woodwork.
WHAT AN INTERCEPTION! Kone leaps high in the area and manages to get his foot to an exquisite pass from Verratti, which may well have resulted in a goal as Ibrahimovic was lurking just behind the defender.
Gourcuff flights the ball in but he is unable to pick out a team-mate inside the area. Lyon once more disappointing from the set play.
Bedimo has been causing PSG problems down their right, and this time his quick feet draw a foul from Van der Wiel. Lyon have another chance to lift the ball into the box...
Fofana and Lacazette combine well but Gourcuff fail's to match their tight interplay when he is introduced to the move. His angled pass over the top of the defence was sent completely the wrong way to either of his team-mates.
Yellow Card Javier Pastore
It has been a fairly even game so far. PSG have been dominating possession but are currently struggling to create anything to really worry the opposing keeper. Lyon, meanwhile, will be pleased with their start as they do look threatening on the break.
Thiago Silva threads a great pass down the left channel for Pastore but the Argentine's attempt to feed Cavani on the inside are thwarted as too many white shirts get back to defend.
PENALTY CLAIM!! PSG move the ball forward brilliantly and Cavani cuts inside of Kone from wide on the left. The Uruguayan drops to ground under the challenge from the defender but the referee is not convinced it deserved a spot kick.
Lyon try to break after a PSG move breaks down but Fofana's attempted through-ball to Lacazette is overhit and it runs all the way through to Sirigu.
Vital interception from Verratti as he just about gets his body in the way to stop Lacazette returning Bedimo's pass to him.
It is drilled in towards the near post but Maxwell is able to deal with comfortably. Lyon will need to do better in those sorts of areas tonight.
Gourcuff has looked bright when in possession so far tonight and after he shifts the ball out wide to Lopes, Lyon win a corner. Can they make anything of this?
Pastore pushes forward down the left and manages to pick up the ball in space. He shuffles away from Gonalons but his cross into the middle is headed away by Umtiti. No one was anywhere near getting on the end of that.
Ibrahimovic fires the resultant free kick straight into the wall and a ricochet sees it hit Bedimo straight in the face. The left-back takes some time to recover from that but he will be fine to continue.
After an initially strong spell of possession, Lyon are now finding themselves on the back foot as PSG begin to dictate the tempo of the game. A diagonal pass towards Cavani draws a foul from Lopes, as the Portuguese is beaten to the ball by his opponent, leaving him only the man to take.
PSG are being outnumbered in midfield and Gonalons takes his time to pick out Gourcuff in space 30 yards from goal. The former AC Milan player opts to shoot from distance but he fails to find either corner and Sirigu is untested.
Good challenge from Umtiti! The centre-back reads the play well and is not fooled by a delicate flick towards Van der Wiel and he times his tackle to perfection.
Almost a spectacular goal! Verratti did brilliantly to win the ball in midfield and then charge towards goal. He spotted Cavani peeling off his defender on the far side and clipped a great cross over to him. The Uruguayan when for an acrobatic volley but his connection was poor and the keeper had a simple save to make.
Lyon already setting out with plenty of width as they push their wing backs on when in possession. That will stretch the PSG midfield and force the likes of Lucas and Cavani to get back behind the ball.
We are underway in Paris!
The teams are making their way out onto the pitch now so this one will be underway imminently.
Just five minutes to go until kick off. Ibrahimovic has scored 12 goals in his last seven outings for PSG. Will he add to that current streak tonight?
Lyon's points total so far this season is the lowest it has been at this stage since the 1997-98 season. However, Remi Garde's side are currently five games unbeaten in all competitions so are certainly in decent form.
Laurent Blanc drops Blaise Matuidi and Ezequiel Lavezzi to the bench following the 2-1 win over Olympiakos in midweek, meaning that Javier Pastore and Lucas Moura come into the side. Victory tonight would see them go four points clear of Lille at the top of the table.
Lyon bench: Gorgelin, Kone, Ferri, Plea, Mvuemba, Malbranque, Danic.
Lyon (3-5-1-1): Vercoutre; Kone, Bisevac, Umtiti; Lopes, Fofana, Gonalons, Gourcuff, Bedimo; Grenier; Lacazette.
PSG bench: Douchez, Marquinhos, Digne, Rabiot, Matuidi, Menez, Lavezzi.
PSG (4-3-3): Sirigu, Van der Wiel, Alex, Thiago Silva, Maxwell; Verratti, Motta, Pastore; Cavani, Ibrahimovic, Lucas.
Here come the line-ups...
Lyon face a difficult task up against PSG today, with the Parisiens currently on a 25-game undefeated run. The visitors are finding this season difficult as they sit in the middle of the table, and they will need to really play at their best if they are to take anything tonight.
