Thank you for joining me - Mohammed Ali - tonight. I'll be off lying down in a dark room after this. Join me again on Wednesday for LIVE international commentary, Germany v France. Stay here meanwhile on Goal.com for much more from the world of football. Until then, good night!
Lyon, who were 1-0 behind after 34 minutes and then 4-2 ahead in the second half are now the ones to be shellshocked. What an amazing attitude from PSG, the stuff of champions one would imagine. Arguably the finest Ligue 1 game of the season.
Unbelievable - and that's an understatement. Carlo Ancelotti has to be vindicated. He sent on Ceara and Bodmer, and the former scored to make it 4-3, whilst the latter made the assist for 4-4.
What a game. FULL-TIME: Olympique Lyonnais 4-4 PSG.
90' + 5'
And that was the last kick of the game! Sirigu is literally pulling Maxwell from the neck in celebration!!
90' + 4'
Assist Mathieu Bodmer
What a game this is. What a game. Free-kick is drifted in and then headed away, with Sirigu joining the chasing pack. Bodmer crosses in for Hoarau who headers it in!! CUE CELEBRATIONS!
90' + 4'
Goal Guillaume Hoarau
GOAAALLL!!! HOARAU!!!!! I DONT BELIEVE IT!!! I DO NOT BELIEVE ITT!! PSG HAVE STOLEN IT IN THE 94TH MINUTE!!!!
90' + 2'
MATCH SAVING TACKLE FROM CISSOKHO!! Gameiro is almost through, but the left-back does amazingly well to clear. PSG are going for the jugular here!
90' + 1'
FOUR MINUTES SIGNALLED AT THE END OF THE SECOND HALF!
90' + 1'
And it is almost heroically cleared for a corner, which is in turn wasted! Lyon hanging on!
A soft free-kick awarded to PSG, 24 yards from goal. Kallstrom chests the ball, but accidentally comes off his arm. This could be dangerous, with Alex standing over this.
GAMEIRO!! ALMOST A GOAL! This match is ending with a bang, make no mistake. Gameiro is played into space on the right wing, and fires goalwards! Narrowly over the crossbar!
Yellow Card Gueida Fofana
He's only been on the pitch a few minutes, but Fofana has earnt himself a yellow card for a lunge on Thiago Motta.
Oh my word. WHAT A SAVE LLORIS! and - WHAT A MISS BY MATHIEU BODMER!! The free-kick is met by the head of Thiago Motta as he dives full-stretch to palm away to his left! Bodmer on the rebound fires over from ONE YARD! Howler, if there ever was one. What a time to do that.
Handbags between Reveilliere and Nene as the latter wants to take the free-kick early, but the right-back stands in the way. Answer? Push him. But that won't add time as the referee gives them a lengthy lecture.
Bafetimbi Gomis is replaced by Gueida Fofana - a move aimed at preserving the lead in this late stage. Gomis is given a standing ovation - and he has deserved it really.
Ancelotti thought that was in, and so too did Al--Khelaifi and Leonardo. Eight nervy minutes to go!
Yellow Card Michel Bastos
WHAT A SAVE BY HUGO LLORIS! Second herculean save of the night from the goalkeeper as his name is chanted by the Lyon faithful. Throw-in by Ceara is long into the box and Nene gets into a great position and looks certain to score before it is tipped over!
Michel Bastos becomes the latest player to be booked. The Brazilian is almost unrecognisable thanks to his new hair-style. This will be an interesting final ten minutes of play. More goals, please?
EDESON! Really should've been five for the hosts. The Brazilian delays his shot on the edge of the box, inviting pressure, and by the time he gets it away, fires it well over the bar.
Free-kick to PSG. Kallstrom pings a long ball 30 yards into the penalty box, and after meeting the head of Gomis, it nestles safely in Sirigu's arms.
Hoarau went close to getting a fourth for les Parisiens, but his header went wide. Both sides piling on pressure towards the end. This is unrelenting end-to-end stuff!
Briand, who scored Lyon's fourth, is subbed for Ederson as Lyon seek to regain their two-goal advantage. Can't help but feel that frustration has returned to the Gerland.
Assist Guillaume Hoarau
GOAAAALLL!!! Here we go again! PSG pull it back to 4-3!! Substitute Marcos Ceara fires with his first touch of the ball from the edge of the penalty box, via a deflection! Stroke of genius from Ancelotti?!
PSG make their final two substiutions in this game. Both right-sided players are sacrificed, with Menez being replaced by Bodmer and Ceara coming on for Jallet.
Suleiman_Junaid on Twitter; I guess this will be Carlo Ancelotti's first defeat in Ligue 1 - certainly looks like it. A comeback here would be nothing short of amazing. Keep your messages coming into @mohammedali_93.
BASTOS! The Brazilian is at it again with a lovely cross in from the wing. He locates Gomis, but it evades the forward before Briand fires well over the bar following Maxwell's woeful clearance.
Poor defensive mix-up almost see Lyon grab a fifth before Alex blocks an incoming shot for a corner, which is in turn easily dealt with. Cissokho picks up the ball before attempting a cross, but Sirigu palms away from the on-rushing Gomis!
HOARAU! Close, but over. Nene swings in a delivery, which meets the head of the no.9 striker, but he heads it over.
Bakary Kone, who has made some poor tackles tonight brings down Nene, and PSG have a free-kick. It is cleared eventually by the hosts. PSG stepping up a gear however.
We have the game's first substiution. Javier Pastore is replaced by Kevin Gameiro - PSG playing with two up front?!
Assist Michel Bastos
Goal Jimmy Briand
GOAL!!! LYON 4-2 PSG!!! Bastos' delivery is perfect, and Jimmy Briand powers home his header to make it FOUR!! What a game. What. A. Game.
Lloris heads the ball out of play, and after a lovely build-up , encompassing the midfield, it finds Cissokho on the left, and he plays an intricate one-two before it is cleared for a corner.
PASTORE! No, offside. Jallet seeks out his team-mate with a ball over the defence, but El Flaco's progress is checked with the linesman's flag. He thinks otherwise, obviously.
Maxwell attempts to find an attacker, but his ball deflects off Bakary Kone as it trickles out of play. Moment of confusion and poor control for the young defender.
The referee stops the game briefly to appraoch Remi Garde who has a few grievances. The Lyon boss is warned of his conduct.
Both sides notably looking to keep possession and press after the defensive problems caused in the first half. Lyon obtain the ball in midfield before Briand skills his way past his marker as it hits Alex. Crowd chants in unison for a penalty, replays suggest it was his chest.
Free-kick to PSG as Briand fouls Nene. Gomis meanwhile challenges Sakho for an aerial ball which the dreadlocked striker comse out on top.
Motta searches out Hoarau with a fine through ball before Kone intercepts with a last-ditch tackle.
Underway in the second half. Let's hope for more of the same, please!
The 40,000 inside Stade Gerland have captured their breath, and so have I (to anyone that's wondering) - second half moments away.
Maxime Gonalons will feel guilty after giving away the penalty which led to Nene's goal in first half injury time. It was on the edge of the area, as Gonalons protested to referee Fredy Fautrel in vain. Hoping for more of the same in the second half, can we see another 5-5 draw at the Gerland, like Lyon v Marseille in 2009?
What a manic 45 minutes at Stade Gerland. Five goals, split 3-2 and we only saw one goal - Guillaume Hoarau's 21st minute finish. BafetimbI Gomis equalised in the 34th minute with a fine volley, and Lisandro made it 2-1 a minute later from close range. Michel Bastos fired arguably the goal of the season in the 40th minute to stretch the hosts' lead further before Nene capitalised on a soft penalty reward in injury time to pull it back to 3-2. Got all of that down? Good.
Over to you fans on Twitter - can you ever think of a better half in Ligue 1 than this? Or indeed this season? Tweet me @mohammedali_93
Half-time: Olympique Lyonnais 3-2 Paris Saint-Germain - *breathes*
45' + 3'
Penalty Goal Nenê
GOAALLL!!! Nene converts the penalty! Back to 3-2 now. What an amazing half.
45' + 2'
PENALTY TO PSG!!! Oh my, what a half of football. Gonalons gives away a soft penalty after lunging on Nene.
45' + 1'
Maxwell and Alex combine oin defence, finding Jallet on the wing who crosses in well but it is headed away.
Two minutes added on at the end of the first half.
Back to the match, Nene attempts a cross but it is a weak one and it is cleared. He gets a second chance on the wing after a poor clearance, but Lloris is all over that.
Ancelotti looks as shellshocked as the rest of the PSG squad. Chants of "Allez" and "Ole" with every kick of the ball from the hosts, and it is only the 43rd minute. PSG have capitulated.
Unbelievable turn around by Lyon who were ONLY 1-0 behind just eight minutes ago. PSG are shellshocked, how much do they want this Ligue 1 title?!
Goal Michel Bastos
GOAALLL!!! WHAT A GOAL WHAT A GOAL!! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?! Three goals in five minutes - and this is the pick of the lot!! Corner is headed away and MICHEL BASTOS fires a stunning goal past Sirigu from distance. If you have time later, watch it on video. Amazing effort.
Yellow Card Nenê
REVEILLERE! Lyon are on full throttle now! The right back fires from 25 metres out and it flies narrowly over!
Carlo Ancelotti cuts a frustrated figure on the touchline. WHAT A TURNAROUND! Meanwhile, Motta and Nene are booked by the referee.
Yellow Card Thiago Motta
Assist Michel Bastos
Goal Lisandro Lopez
WOULD YOU BELIEVE IT?!! ITS IN AGAIN! LYON HAVE TURNED IT AROUND! Lisandro is the goalscorer as Bastos bursts through with pace to tee up the Argentine who finishes with aplomb. TWO GOALS IN TWO MINUTES!
Assist Kim Källström
Goal Bafetimbi Gomis
GOAAALLL!! Lyon hit back, against the run of play! Kallstrom plays a long ball back into the box and it hangs in the air for an age before GOMIS VOLLEYS IN! WHAT A FINISH! 1-1.
BRIAND! Great interception by Kallstrom who sets Briand on his way, the latter cuts in on his right before attempting to find the bottom corner, but saved well by Sirigu as it goes behind for a corner.
ALEX! Great save Lloris! The Brazilian defender fires at the France no.1 who blocks it expertly with his gloves!
Yellow Card Baky
Lyon at the other end have a rare chance, with Gomis' shot palmed away by Sirigu. PSG race forward, but Kone fouls Menez on the edge of the box. Alex is standing over this - remember his goal last week?! Kone earns a yellow card, by the way.
HOARAU! What. A. Miss. PSG should really be 2-0 up there. The hosts' defence is left at sixes and sevens as Nene races through on the left. His first-time ball into the centre finds Hoarau, who fires the wrong side of the post! All he needed to do was tap it in!.
Lovely ball from Pastore who searches out Nene in the penalty box with a fine through ball but Cris intervenes with a last-ditch tackle. Lyon on the ropes, now.
Ohhhh, that's a hefty challenge by Gonalons on Hoarau. The Lyon midfielder's high challenge catches the number 9 on the side of his face.
Yellow Card Guillaume Hoarau
Goalscorer Guillaume Hoarau earns the first booking of the night. The striker has his second goal in two weeks, can he force his way into the first team ahead of Gameiro? Send your thoughts to @mohammedali_93
Lyon almost issue a response from a set-piece. Kallstrom's free-kick delivered into the box is headed away, before the subsequent ball in meets the head of Gomis, who heads narrowly over the bar!
PSG director Nasser Al-Khelaifi looks on in deep discussion with Leonardo as Carlo Ancelotti thumps his fists in delight. Far too easy, and Lyon's defensive frailities have been exposed again.
Assist Jérémy Menez
Goal Guillaume Hoarau
GOAAAALLLL!! GUILLAUME HOARAU HAS GIVEN PSG THE LEAD!! Free-kick is short and low by Menez who lays off the French striker on the edge of the area and he fires in an effort into the bottom of the corner. Far too easy against a static Lyonnais defence.
Corner to Lyon has Kone charges down Nene's attempted cross. Firsrt delivery is poor as Pastore deflects away from goal and cannot get his shot away. Free-kick awarded to PSG however, on the right.
LLORIS! WHAT A SAVE! Wonderful cross from Jallet and it is PASTORE who heads goalwards. It looks like he's succeded had it not been for an amazing sprawling save from Lloris. Kone hurriedly clears.
Interesting early stat - Lyon have 53% possession compared to PSG's 47%. Send me your predictions for the match to Twitter. I'm found @mohammedali_93.
Lisandro Lopez is penalised for a handball by the referee. The Argentine accidentally handled the ball during an aerial challenge.
Pastore again proves to be in the thick of any attacking forays into the opposition penalty box. His pass is blocked by Cris, and as it hurtles out towards a corner, Lloris races off his line to clear for a throw-in instead.
PSG looking comfortable in possession and carving open the host's midfield as Motta finds Pastore easily with a weighted pass. Hoarau attempts to latch onto the ball over the defenders, but he is whistled offside.
Ohhh that was CLOSE! Lovely bit of play from the visitors starting from Jallet chesting the lofted ball from midfield. In towards Pastore, "El Flaco" nutmegs his marker before threading a ball into Menez who's attempt to pass into the box leads to Kone deflecting to Lloris who has to stretch to meet that!
Briand attempts to evade the challange of his marker, but fails under the pressure on the wing. Reveillere sprints past the challenge of two PSG defenders including Maxwell on the wing, but the France international's pull-back is poor.
Corner to Lyon. Crossed in by Bastos, and Sirigu inexplicably pats the ball away for a corner despite no challenge. The second attempt is cleared well.
GOMIS!! What an effort. The dreadlocked striker does fantastically well to get past Sakho and fire a stinging effort which moves violently in the air. Sirigu tips it over the bar, and Carlo Ancelotti looks on in frustration.
Bafetimbi Gomis sticks out a leg to bring down Brazilian winger Nene. Lyon seeing more of the ball in the early stages.
Jeremy Menez is penalised for a handball, he doesn't look best pleased with that call to be honest.
BRIAND!! Lyon already in the ascendancy after a quick exchange of posesssion. Gomis drifts in wide to ping in a cross and Briand's mis-hit has wasted a great opening.
AND WE ARE OFF!! Lyon attacking from right to left in their white kit, PSG in their famous navy blue.
Atmosphere building in the Gerland, with kick-off moments away. Tonight's referee is Fredy Fautrel.
TEAM NEWS: Lyon go with their strongest possible line-up, with defender Dejan Lovren still recovering from an injury problem. Kevin Gameiro is replaced by Guillaume Hoarau, last week's scorer with Christophe Jallet replacing Milan Bisevac.
Full-time in tonight's Ligue 1 games, and Montpellier have beaten Lyon's conquerors Bordeaux 1-0 at Stade de la Mosson. The hosts have now leapfrogged PSG into top spot with the pressure on for Carlo Ancelotti's men to win tonight to reclaim first.
PSG: Sirigu, Jallet, Sakho, Alex, Maxwell, Thiago Motta, Sissoko, Menez, Nene, Pastore, Hoarau
CONFIRMED TEAM LINEUPS: Lyon: Lloris, Cissokho, Cris, Kone, Reveilliere, Gonalons, Kallstrom, Briand, Bastos, Lisandro Lopez, Gomis.
PSG's 2-2 draw with Montpellier last weekend illustrated the stuff of champions some might say. After going behind late on, Guillaume Hoarau struck in the 89th minute to keep Carlo Ancelotti's men ahead of the pack entering week 25. A defeat here would open the door for Rene Girard's youthful side to take full advantage.
Well, both sides need three points for very different reasons. Lyon, who last won a domestic trophy in 2008, have seen their domestic status fall even further, and appear to be ruled out of the title race. Defeats to Caen and Bordeaux in recent games have left Remi Garde's men starting tonight's game in sixth, 12 points behind PSG.
I'm Mohammed Ali, and I'll be your host for this evening, providing you with live updates in a match which could potentially have a bearing on where the Ligue 1 title ends up in May. As always, you can get involved with your messages via Twitter to @mohammedali_93. Go!
Good evening! Welcome to Goal.com's LIVE commentary this Saturday night. It's a blockbuster from Ligue 1 as Olympique Lyonnais play host to big-spending Paris Saint-Germain at the Stade Gerland. Confirmed team line-ups to follow shortly.
