Thanks for joining me today. Stay tuned on Goal.com for the fifth round draw, which is coming up shortly.
So Liverpool are eliminated by the same team they beat 5-1 last season, as Oldham reach they fifth round for the first time in 19 years - and it was thoroughly deserved too.
Here are Jack Gaughan full-time thoughts: "Incredible scenes at Boundary Park - supporters and players alike are in utter disbelief as to what they’ve just achieved. A 3-2 win, with two goals from Matt Smith and one from Reece Wabara, puts them through to the fifth round, but this was so much more than that. They beat last season’s finalists Liverpool in a display possessing character, quality on the ball and a huge desire to win. It’s the perfect way to end a perfect weekend of cup football."
90' + 7'
AND THERE IT IS! Oldham are through as Liverpool crash out!
90' + 6'
The crowd are whistling for the whistle... only a few more seconds for Oldham to hang on for and the ball is with Jones...
90' + 5'
Just over one more minute to go as Robinson tries his luck from nearly 30 yards... as sees his shot whistle very far wide. Rodgers does not look impressed on the sidelines.
90' + 4'
More long balls into the area from Liverpool but the Oldham defence continues to stand tall. They have been peerless this afternoon.
90' + 3'
Nearly halfway through injury time and Oldham have the ball exactly where they want it, near the corner flag.
90' + 1'
So, yes, there is to be SIX minutes of added time. Can Liverpool grab an all-important equaliser?
GERRARD HITS THE BAR! Just before we enter stoppage time, of which there will be six minutes(!), Gerrard smacks an effort against the crossbar with Bouzanis beaten all ends up. The pressure continues to mount for both sides.
Oldham are refusing to succumb to the ever-increasing pressure from Liverpool and make a desperate lunge forward through the fresh Mellor, but the ball runs out for a goal kick to the visitors.
Jack Gaughan is getting very nervous now: "Scary moments for Oldham, Liverpool are pressing and pressing. Joe Allen almost scored his second deflected shot in a matter of minutes! Boundary Park is a tense, nervy place at the moment."
As we enter the final five minutes, it is backs-against-the-wall stuff for Oldham and Liverpool have two corners in quick succession. The first ends up with Allen's shot from 12 yards being deflected wide before Bouzanis confidently claims the second lofted delivery.
It appears to be a dislocated shoulder that Smith suffered, so not too bad but hardly pleasant. Here comes Mellor as his replacement.
Oh no. Concern for Oldham as Smith is being stretchered off after a collision. He is, however, sitting up on the stretcher so hopefully it isn't too bad. No change yet so Oldham continue with just 10 men for now.
It appears that goal was not as impress after a further look... Jack Gaughan has the details: "Mr Anonymous Joe Allen - absolutely dire all afternoon - fires Liverpool a lifeline. In fact, his 25-yard shot took a huge deflection and looked to be going wide on replay, but none of that matters: we’re in for a cracking final 10 minutes."
GOAL! Liverpool are back in it and it is Allen with a fine volleyed effort after Suarez's corner was headed clear only as far as the edge of the area. Definitely the goal of the game, can it spur Liverpool to force a replay?
Change for Oldham now as Simpson comes off for Taylor. Simpson has been superb today.
First sign of Shelvey since his reaction and he combines well with Gerrard before thwacking the ball from 25 yards that rises over Bouzanis and over the bar.
The rain is coming down at Boundary Park, and Oldham have just 15 more minutes to see out a famous FA Cup scalp.
Rodgers heeds Jack's call and throws Shelvey into the fray in place of Sterling.
Yellow CardMatt Smith
Here is Jack Gaughan again: "Is there any way back for Liverpool? It doesn’t seem so at the moment. Oldham have thrown bodies in front of shots but the visitors haven’t really created too many presentable chances. Steven Gerrard has woken them up slightly, but it needs more."
Suarez, who has been relatively quiet since the break, picks up a short throw in and ducks past Wesolowski before trying to power a shot past Bouzanis, but the goalkeeper is again a match to it.
Here come Liverpool again, and it is a fine move with Downing, Sterling, Suarez and, finally, Gerrard all combined before the latter takes aim inside the area that is superbly blocked by more sturdy defending from Byrne.
Liverpool are pressing high up the pitch down as Sterling dart down the right and tries to find Suarez and/or Sturridge inside the area, but Mvoto gets back and clears.
Worryingly for Oldham, and I don't want to tempt fate, but they are slowly getting pushed further back by Liverpool. Half an hour to go.
First chance for Gerrard as some quick feet creates space for a shot on the edge of the area after Suarez picked him out, but Byrne gets in a great sliding block.
Here is Jack Gaughan again: "Brendan Rodgers has sent on the big guns – Steven Gerrard and, erm, Stewart Downing in a bid to get back into the game. Liverpool are pressing more and have fashioned a couple of chances. This is far from over as Oldham have dropped five yards in the last few minutes."
...and here come the the cavalry! Downing and Gerrard replace Wisdom and Borini.
Here come Oldham again as Baxter picks out Mvoto at the back post, but the centre-back cannot divert his header on target.
Oldham have started the second half just as strongly as they started the first, Liverpool are struggling to get a foot on the ball at the moment.
Another chance for Oldham! And this time it is Baxter who runs onto Winchester's pass over the top of the defence but the striker's chipped effort from the edge of the area does not have enough height on it to beat Jones.
Gerrard and Downing have immediately been sent to warm up as Rodgers reacts to his side going two goals down.
Here is Jack Gaughan again with a little bit more information on that goal: "Oh, Fabio Borini, you silly fool. The striker misses a glorious opportunity moments before Oldham score a THIRD goal. Carl Winchester swung in a cross from the left and right-back Reece Wabara powers in a header to give themselves some real breathing space. The shock is definitely on."
GOAL!! Wow! Oldham go 3-1 up as Wabara heads Winchester's fine cross back across goal and over Jones! We really do have an upset on our hands now!
And early free kick for Oldham on the right-hand side of the penalty area, but Croft slips when taking his run up and the ball trundles harmlessly out for a goal kick. Oopsy.
Little stat for you as the second half starts: Liverpool have not been knocked out of the FA Cup by a team two divisions lower than them since 1993 when Bolton eliminated them.
And we are back underway in the second half. Can Oldham hold on?
Very entertaining first half of football follows on from a number of upsets already today. Can Liverpool turn this around and buck the trend?
45' + 4'
And the referee calls an end to the first half. All eyes on the very impressive Smith, whose double has given Oldham a shock lead at the break.
45' + 2'
GOAL!! Smith does it again and Oldham lead! But this is all down to Jones' inability to deal with a fairly tame low cross that allows Simpson to find an unmarked Smith at the back post. 2-1!
45' + 1'
Into stoppage time, of which there will be three minutes, as the corner is floated in... and Jones collects well.
CLOSE! As we enter stoppage time at the end of the first half, Jones is forced to concede a corner after Smith overjumps Coates to power a header that was dipping underneath the crossbar.
As much as SBS are impressing up front by Oldham, Bouzanis is showing great composure between the sticks and shows quick thinking to rush out and intercept Suarez's through-ball towards Sturridge is prevent a near-certain goal.
...the ball is floated in and Coates clears only as far as Winchester, who tries his luck from the edge of the area that Jones gathers with relative ease.
Corner for Oldham now as Simpson's darting run onto Baxter's through-ball is diverted behind by Coates. Simpson, Baxter and Smith are causing Liverpool's defence all sorts of trouble.
Another brief hold up in play as Borini seems unable to cope with a soft, floated pass colliding with the side of his face and duly rolls on the floor trying to find imaginary blood. Aaaaaaand, we are back underway.
The home crowd, whose optimism was tempered by Liverpool's equaliser, have been lifted by Oldham's flurry of half chances. Superb atmosphere.
Some fine, and composed, play from Oldham sees Simpson turn and shoot from the edge of the area, only to drag the effort wide. Oldham are not overawed here, even if they are struggling to cope with Suarez's movement.
Oldham are far from relinquishing their grip on the game though, and Baxter reminds their Premier League opposition of the threat they hold with a dipping shot from 25 yards that has Jones scrambling before it fizzes a yard wide.
Bouzanis is getting increasingly busier as this half wears on, with the two wide men Borini and Sterling now combining to test the shot-stopper from 20 yards out but again he is more than a match to it.
Sturridge and Suarez continue to link up well, with the former this time firing off a shot across Bouzanis' body from the edge of the area that the goalkeeper does well to get down quickly and smother.
Liverpool are the team on top now and again go close through Suarez's powerful drive from distance after link-up play with Sturridge, but the ball flashes wide.
DISALLOWED GOAL! Liverpool think they have taken the lead when Suarez nods in Henderson's delivery, but play is quickly pulled back for offside. Replays show it is the correct decision.
Yellow CardReece Wabara
And Liverpool play it short through Suarez and Sturridge, with the former then brought down by Wabara on the edge of the area and picks up a deserved booking. And now Liverpool have a free kick on the left-hand corner of the penalty area. Promising...
There is a slight hold up in play as Oldham claim Sturridge lashed out at Ground following that challenge but replays show it was nothing of note. Anyway, here comes the corner...
Liverpool are growing into this game and Sturridge shows fine close control to spin neatly inside the area to create space for a shot, only for Grounds is slide in and clear the danger.
Here is Jack Gaughan with his thoughts: "This had been all Oldham so far and the League One strugglers thoroughly deserved their lead. The Liverpool back four look shaky at best and the ballplayers in midfield haven’t been able to get in possession, but when you have a striker in the form of Luis Suarez, it doesn’t take long for a game to turn. Suarez sauntered his way into the home box and placed a shot past Dean Bouzanis who might have done better."
GOAL! Suarez equalises for Liverpool. The striker picks the ball up wide on the left, skips inside and into the area, looking for the pass towards Borini but when Byrne inadvertently returns the ball back into the Uruguayan's path he makes no mistake from 12 yards.
Here is Baxter again, this time with a shot from distance after fine worth from strike partner Smith, but the ball is driven just wide of Jones' goal.
I tell you what, this tie has set a high level for feistiness already, this time Baxter - the former Everton striker - and Robinson take a tumble while chasing down a long ball from Mvoto.
And, yes, M'Changama is forced to withdraw, with Winchester coming in in his place in a like-for-like change.
Yellow CardRobbie Simpson
Deary me. Simpson tries to capitalise on the loose ball after Jones fails to deal with Croft's shot from distance but the goalkeeper takes unkindly to his over-eager challenge and pushes the Oldham player over before Skrtel gets involved. The conclusion? Simpson is booked while Jones and Skrtel are given the all clear.
Yellow CardRaheem Sterling
Not so promising for Oldham at the moment though as midfielder M'changama is down and looking likely to have to withdraw after a clash with Sterling, with the Liverpool player picking up a booking.
Well, well, well. Superb start for the League One side. Matt Smith is taking the honours at the moment, but Skrtel got the last touch before the ball crossed the line.
GOAL!! Oldham have taken the lead after less than two minutes of the clock! Smith got a run on his marker and powered a header towards goal which Skrtel could only head into his own goal while trying to prevent the inevitable. We have a game on! Liverpool have barely touched the ball. 1-0!
And we are underway! Liverpool kick off.
Paul Dickov and Brendan Rodgers share a hug before kick-off, they latter appearing far more eager than his lower-league counterpart. Typical.
Couple o' stats to whet your appetite ahead of the game... 1) These two sides have faced each other four times in the FA Cup, with Liverpool winning on every occasion. 2) Oldham have not advanced further in the FA Cup than the fourth round in 19 years - when they lost to Manchester United in the semi-final after a replay.
10 minutes until kick-off, time to click the 'Preview' tab just above these words for a butchers at my preview (obviously) of the game. Do you agree with my prediction?
Oldham, meanwhile, make a couple of changes from the side that lost to Notts County in League One on Tuesday, with Lee Croft and Robbie Simpson getting the nod ahead of Chris Taylor and Chris Sutherland respectively.
A very strong line-up for Liverpool then, with Luis Suarez handed the captain's armband as he partners Daniel Sturridge up front, with Fabio Borini on the wing for his first start since fracturing his foot.
Liverpool: Jones, Wisdom, Coates, Skrtel, Robinson; Allen, Henderson; Sterling, Borini, Sturridge; Suarez. Subs: Gulacsi, Carragher, Shelvey, Lucas, Downing, Gerrard, Suso.
Oldham: Bouzanis; Wabara, Byrne, Mvoto, Grounds; Croft, Wesolowski, M'Changama, Simpson; Baxter, Smith. Subs: Cisak, Brown, Winchester, Tarkowski, Sutherland, Mellor, Taylor.
First things first then, let's get those line-ups out and about. First up, League One's very own Oldham...
